Wow, now isn't this a little bit of the real scammers being handed a dose of their own medicine... Folks, don't live in a bubble.... Publicly traded tech companies are the biggest scam in the world, and they lean on your legislators and this is why you have the appearance of a two-tiered legal system to then just go after part of the problem.. When tech was allowed to be created, it was done so with the understanding that the hand that feeds it needs a back door, closer to who they are - benevolent, it won't have a greasy, greedy, lawless backbone. So when I hear reports like this, they're almost false flag events... Because amazon, uber, lyft, youtube, you've been SpaceX and Tesla are all getting away with some form of grease. Legit does not need grease, legit never needs leverage. So, this criminal element is all part of The Grand design as unfortunate as it is, I trust Amazon less than I do the thieves... Didn't exist, the way they do, then these type theives wouldn't be here.

Thank you Roman.

I avoid scams by not buying or selling online. I go to the stores that sell the useful items I need. Also not a fan of Chinese garbage sold by bezos, as it's not good for this country(insert any country here).

Amazon is a scam company, i returned 4k in a product mtg that came opened, i filmed opening the door and opening the box. And finding the product opened a returned to hub and Amazon never refunded. When i disputed the charge i was forever banned from Amazon and my pos @nfcu bank still made me pay
@donscheid97 Says:
Yes, I've been hit by several, asking to verify my (non existent) Prime account, verify my address, update my payment account. Did not bite on any.

I get these alerts in my email all the time. I get them from scammers posing as my online accounts in general. My Bank, paypal, ebay, Amazon, and numerous others as well as posing as coming from accounts I don't have at all. The wise will never take a single one of these seriously. If a person has a question about the validity of this then can close down the email, open a fresh private web page and log into their account and check directly. NEVER EVER follow a link in an email. Just don't do it.
@cindyhooker154 Says:
I’ve also about once a week receive a text that says the U.SP. Has a shipping problem with my shipment. It has a link to click on. I hadn’t had any USPS shipments. Please be careful. I try to keep a prepaid card to use with my online or phone orders.
@cindyhooker154 Says:
2 years ago I had a text that an Apple 1,000 phone had been added to and processing on my account. They supposedly blocked it. I needed to buy prepaid cards to open my account up to clear my information. I kept the scammer on the phone while I drove to the police station.

@carmenortiz5294 Says:
I'm 76 and got one of those massages a few days ago. First of all, I am not stupid and I know that 1) Amazon doesn't call you, 2) she guessed the wrong credit card, I only use another and 3) that one "never more" to quote the Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. I have a smart phone (my daughter the "genius" insisted) and all calls go directly to my garbage message file, which is a waste of their time since I only use my dumb phone.
@LeeLoo_22 Says:
Why dont scammers go after the elutes, they have billions.
@kernow1273 Says:
I get these emails alot. I'm in UK. The senders address is always a giveaway.
@terrijuanette486 Says:
I got a call from scammers just a couple days ago. The scammers spoofed and a direct phone number I obtained years ago to Amazon Customer service (it was not an 800 #) that I had in my phone. When the guy who called ME asked me to give some personal information to 'prove' my identity, that sounded odd. After all, he called me, not the other way around. I hung up immediately with no explanation. I just clicked the hang up button and did an online search for "Amazon chat". I clicked on several of the options until I got the one that took me to chat NOT the cust serv options page. The person on chat looked up my info and said they had not called me. That's what I thought.
@jolujo5842 Says:
Isnt American Hartford a scam??? Hmmmm?
@jeannebergeron Says:
There's another scam out ther, not relaited to Amazon. You get a call from a number you don't recognize, you answer it. Afew months later a relative get a call from a "relative" saying they are in trouble and need money. Your voice cloned and is used to get money from your relative
@jenniferfreeman2776 Says:
Easy fix……Get rid of prime!
@johnbedell2376 Says:
This Amazon scamming thing has been in progress for at LEAST a year. Amazon’s warning and Epoch’s reporting are very late to the party.
@margaretchayka6878 Says:
I can't believe people still fall for these scams.
@barbarahouk1983 Says:
Last scam, I spoke German. They still insisted on an interaction so my sister interpreted (she speaks no German). Inconsistencies didn't matter. Their goal was to get a Yahoo code. I pointed out to my sister the warning "do not give code to anyone ". She read this warning to them and then said, " I think this business is now concluded ".
@barbarahouk1983 Says:
TY, I shall be vigilant.
@carolgrant8756 Says:
Soon if utube keep surpassing free speech, they too can be boycotted like Budweiser, Target, Disney and the like.
@carolynkovacs5412 Says:
Scammers try me all the time, I just hang up on them. I have been aware of this scam for years DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING LIKE THIS, ESPECIALLY THE SENIORS. I CALLED AMAZON and they assured me they did not call me!

This happened to me in July 2020 I have someone sound like Nigeria trying to get all my information saying my Amazon account was messed up. I knew right away that it was some kind of scam so I started playing games with them eventually hung up and they called me back three or four times.

By the way; gold /silver coin shops on internet. I June I ordered and paid USD 2320 for a 1oz gold coin US 100dollar liberty from a company website called «Capital Bullion». The web looked normal professional. Look like Texas address. In short: I got no coin and no mail answers when I tried to remind about the paid deal. After about a month I got a mail with sold out-message which had caused delayed shipping. Well , that looked reasonable. Next day I got a mail from a «shipping company» with a tracking code and address. called Cival logistic. Totally unknown. Including a demand for extra insurance payment of USD 1690! They had sent the package to Canada (!) where they waited for my extra payment or else they could not make a shipping to Europe. Which they would refund when the coin is received on my address..! “civalogistic” a “company» was never informed about when I ordered the coin. On the web site it was said to be USPS /UPS....! And not a word about any extra charges! Of course I have not paid this «insurance», and have got several more mails to try to pressure me. My USD 2320 is stolen money. The coin has never even existed in their «shop» . And the 2 companies most likely has the exact identical «office» somewhere. Can you please make warnings about these «companies» . The «shipping partner» has a very fake business structure with names taken from internet and same person directing a bunch of other suspect fake agencies. I found a revealing info about that. The «tracking» showing my package «in Canada» was of course not possible to track with offical tracking services. I have sent a report to the federals. FBI. (probably useless but I did that)

People stop being naive, most of the time it's signs letting you know. It's either to good of a deal or they try to scare you. But one thing is stop giving your info away

I get Amazon scammer emails daily. Don't open them, just block and delete. Such a corrupt world we now live in.

This happened to me but I went to my account and everything was fine. Knew it was a scam.
@craigcuthbert8512 Says:
I've been getting the same text messages for the last 3 years. I ignored all of them. Don't click that potentially faulty link.
