I get a headache when I hear religious people talk. The mind gymnastics they do are insane.

I have always viewed this story as proof that the Bible could only have been written by someone with a deeply flawed sense of morality. Sacrificing the lives of Job's ten children because of Satan's challenge to Jehovah's authority just proves that both parties are psychopaths. Good luck to anyone who would worship that.
@conor9109 Says:
God proving a point to Satan is the wildest idea that came from that book. God used Satan to bring job to his knees, because Job had immense pride. Job himself said in chapter 19 that he wanted to see God with his own eyes in the flesh. This is a trial that costs everything. God took all of jobs idols away, then rebuked his pride, and finally allowed Job to witness the presence of God. Job would then be able to take the testimony of the presence of God to the next generation, which is the point of sanctification on earth

Even the smartest people become absolute idiots with religion.
@ECA2 Says:
Why wouldn't God have a conversation with Lucifer who holds the title of the Satan (the Accuser)? He's God's creation also. Nothing in creation has an existence without God. All that exists, darkness and light, good and evil, right and wrong, etc., is God's creation. Without God, nothing is manifested. Nothing exists outside of God. So, God is in all that lives, even Lucifer the Satan, because God is life and without God, nothing lives. ps. God doesn't have favorites of Anything.

I LOVE THE BOOK OF JOB!!!! He redeems his "friends" in the end. He effectively kicks Satan in the stones in Job 19:23-27!!!!
@Johnsmith-uw7uw Says:
It baffles me how people still believe in their little fairytales in the 21st century... lunacy
@davidlangley2064 Says:
The conversation is about punishing the Earth. God mentions Job, because, unlike the wicked, Job could survive scrutiny. Job suffers for the sake of a generation, so that they may be spared. May God bless us all, Amen 😇
@asingularsillygoose Says:
There’s something that is just really unintentionally funny about putting a trap beat behind two conservative grifters doing Bible study.
@newfreenayshaun6651 Says:
It's the same thing that I do when I'm being harassed about cleaning or paying for my bills. I hold up my commercial driver's license and I say look mom, Job. Then she proceeds to face palm and call upon the lord to save her as she walks back upstairs.

Yeah ... I'm actually still with Kyle on this one. A God who would do this for a wager (gambling? Supposed to be a sin.) is not a God I'm about to worship. 🤷🏼‍♂️ We all carry our burdens but this is one where I use my own logic. I grew up Catholic and went to Baptist private schools, I've heard all of it, read the Bible, been "born again" and I'm sorry, Christians are usually not good people because they use Jesus as a justification for their transgressions. You're supposed to act like him, not use him as an excuse.
@HeabSaysNo Says:
I wonder if his wives and children and livestock thought it was great. What a shitty way to prove a point. This is textbook rationalization lmao

Satan (The White Man) Job 2:4-6 (KJV) And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
@1Manda1 Says:
All this talk is built uppon the stories being true to begin with. yall are delusional people.
@Novarcharesk Says:
I keep it simple. God doesn’t exist. Easy
@happydantravels Says:
Have you considered my servant Job? That is better translated, have you built a case against my servant Job?

More unsubstantiated religious mumbo jumbo...
@tylersmith7005 Says:
See, God cosmicly spanked Job and got a disciplined child
@brianphillips5576 Says:
Satan came before the thrown of God... then God commanded Satan to spare Jobs life. I see that God's plan... or way... includes Satan to bring us to faith and trust in God's ways. Since God doesn't do evil... He allows Satan to bring the person to a holy worship. A holy worship is the fellowship God created us for. That's why in the end... the end of the 1000 year reign God will do one more test by releasing Satan to test those who once believed to see who has a holy fearful worship fellowship. ......Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

Lunatic nonsense
@Starman594 Says:
Knowles seems condescending.
@Starman594 Says:
Any Christian would love to be put in that position. Most couldn't of succeeded but God had faith in Job. How incredible !
@Starman594 Says:
He is not only talking to Satan but also those angels that have turned against God.
@Starman594 Says:
Just maybe you men are not as smart as God. I know you think you are.
@Starman594 Says:
God holds Job up above all mankind. Jesus was also innocent and was punished to death for what we did. It is more than proving a point. It is paying a ransom so we can live again.
@whereisthepencil Says:
No, this was a terrible thing for God to do. Nothing beautiful about it. I have never thought anything but sadness when reading the trials and tribulations of Job. In fact, it belittles God to torment one of his servants just to prove his love for him.
@lindseycrittendon7883 Says:
The language eludes to an adversary...not necessarily Lucifer. God has a divine council, and we imagine this as pretty people and fat babies with wings, but that isn't actually how it goes. There is a hierarchy of divine beings that work for God. Some of them have jobs to test us. Think of it as God is the judge, but he has divine beings in his council that serve as prosecuting attorneys while we are the defendants.

The Unicorn is in an argument with the Troll and throws a Pixie into a volcano to punish it and prove a point to the Troll.
@Ekg915 Says:
They Killed a man's wife n kids over a bet. Just because they were replaced later in his life doesn't mean what god did was right or even within the bounds he sets for us. Were Jobs wife and kids not God's children as well? They were sacrificed by God to prove a point. Where does that leave the rest of us? This story proves we're the ants, and God is the kid with the 🔍
@JJNow-gg9so Says:
Funny
@briancomley8210 Says:
There is no evidence that the god outlined in the bible is actually real, that goes for satan as well. therefore all of this is just claims designed to make us conform to every one else.

@jdbm1978 Says:
God makes bet with Satan. Fiirstly than implies that both Yaweh and Shaitan have at least equal standing. By this time, Baal has been largely denied acc the bible but does exist acc Yaweh (thou shalt not worship any other God but me). Anyway, paranoid God destroys good man's life, wins bet with Satan and nonchalantly replaces dead wife and kids with better ones and more cows. Also people think Jewish beliefs are similar to Christians. Funny old world
@richardmorgan6105 Says:
Here's what I believe is happening...froma a personal experience: The hardest thing about living here on earth is watching the ones we love suffer and go before us! One day before our beautiful daughter's suicide, I prayed to heavenly Father, with Yeshua the hardest prayer an father could ever pray. Convinced of her deep depression and feelings of hopeless, we had talked times about that depression and she revealed her need for someone in this world to understand, care for, and allow Yahweh's Word and Spirit to fix her problems. I responded in haste and told her if you are looking for someone in this world to solve your problems, no one in this world really cares! I had just gone through eight years in caretaking of my mother who suffered with Alzheimer's disease and become cynical watching mom slowly waste away,  in what seemed to me to be forever. I talked to my daughter many times about my own sins and how they affected not only me but family, friends, and everyone else entering my realm of influence; always pointing her toward our forgiving Savior who first loved us. I believe she only heard the statement "no one really cares" and now realize my horrible mistake of telling someone so depressed the terrible truth about mankind. My faith was weak at that time due to a lack of knowledge in God's Word and defiled conscience that kept me from showering her with the fruit of the Spirit in Father's Word such as: "If thou can believe, all things are possible to him that believes." (Mark 9:23) "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." (Psalm118:8) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:5, 6) "The fear of man brings a snare: but whoso puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe." (Proverbs 29:25) and many more! Several years earlier she had followed me in a public profession of faith in water baptism but like her earthly father had stumbled and was living in the sin of fornication. She was living under conviction of the Holy Spirit and finally, my prayer was: Father Yahweh forgive her sins, allow whatever is necessary to give her peace, and bring her home to You, in Yeshua's name Amen. The Apostle Paul told the church at Corinth who were suffering unforgiven fornication, "To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." (1 Cor 5:5) For it is written, "And grieve not the holy Spirit of Yahweh, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption." (Eph 4:30) Yeshua also says, "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." (Mathew 18:18,19) Father Yahweh, our loving Creator is so faithful even to me the most horrible sinner and has blessed me with faith beyond that of a mere mustard seed! (Mathew 17:20) Has anyone asked you lately the reason (explanation) for the joy held in your faith? When giving testimony be a faithful witness (purified from sin, clear conscience toward Yahweh and fellow man) for it is written, "sanctify the Lord Yahweh in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear." (1Peter 3:15) Serve the Lord with gladness. For this reason are we (believers) born again into this world and given the hallowed things of the Lord for an offering by reason of Jesus' anointing that we should bear witness unto the truth. Testify to the "good news": promises of God through Yeshua Messiah. Lean not on your own understanding but "stay upon the (rod and staff) of the Word of God; especially when the lights go out." (Adrian Rogers from Psalm 23) Because we live in a fallen world, darkness will come upon everyone at any time! For it is written, "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all." (Ecclesiastes 9:11) "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. [But now Father Yahweh has gotten very personal with mankind, speaking to us through His only begotten Son; through new birth in baptism of His Holy Spirit. By the grace of Yeshua's sacrifice; our Creator wants a personal and intimate relationship with us as with a spouse!And if you will receive it [dear elect ones, Jewish family] this is Elias, which was for to come." (Mathew 11:7-14) After losing our beautiful daughter to suicide, my favorite scripture passage is 1 John 4:18 — "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out all fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love." Biblical Job "was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed (deliberately shuned, avoided) evil" (Job1:2) but Job lived in fear of losing: his daily sacrifice (towards the sins of his children), his children, his health, and possibly all of the above. How do I know this? Because of Job's own words: As it is written, "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." (Job 3:25) If we submit all to Father Yehweh our Creator, He is faithful to make us perfect (righteous) through His perfect love in Messiah Yeshua. Yehweh knows our every need! He does not tempt but allows temptation as chastening. For as it is written, "For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives" (Hebrews 12:6) who may be living in fear! This is what Yeshua meant when He said, "Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Mathew 5:48) Do not be afraid when darkness falls. This global warming of sin (apostasy) which we are now experiencing will bring catastrophe (holocaust) to this world and evil men but “all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mathew 19:26) It is written, “Love not the world neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and pride of life is not of the Father, but of the world.” (1John 2:16) Do not be fooled but faithfull (innocent/free of sin guilt). A pure conscience is our strength  of faith and witness of Jesus in these last hours. As it is written, "Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience." (1 Ti 3:9) For this reason are we born again into this world and given the hallowed things of the Lord for an offering by reason of the anointing. Let's not join that spirit of antichrist which is forming this new world order: "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." (Revelation 17:5) Antichrist (the man of sin, and son of perdition) will very soon come as Deceiver seeking to take the place of Yeshua Messiah, the one true living Yahweh. It is written, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Yeshua Messiah is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." (2John 1:7) Dear reader, are we (mankind) ready for Father Yahweh, our Creator's new world order and great reset? It is already written in eternity (the Word of God) from beginning to end, and now Yahweh await only our response and His time!
