The situation first started on Monday when Owens called out British Airways for what she deemed was 'financial fraud'
'Traveling with 2 children under two. Booked 3 business class seats because it was a 10-hour, overnight journey and wanted beds. We board plane to find there is full power outage on ONLY our 3 seats. They cannot recline, TVS don't work, cannot charge our phones,' Owens said."*

Candace has never heard of airline miles or points obviously, which only proves to me how ignorant she really is. I've gotten those seats for next to nothing--even first class seats. She may have a schedule that doesn't accommodate using miles or points, but with a little planning, she could have kept more of her money. BA won't accommodate you very much for non-functioning equipment. In truth, their airlines are fairly dirty. If you have any doubt, next time you're flying in first or business, look under your seat.

This is just silly. There's nothing at ALL "elitist" about flying business or first class on international flights. And $18k is standard fare for a family to fly business class. I'll travel to India in December and didn't think twice about dropping $5200.00 for business class, and I certainly am not "wealthy" or "elitist." What I AM is an executive who, after being on a plane for 27 hours, must be ready to engage as a leader with a group of several hundred coworkers. An elitist wouldn't be caught dead flying commercially.
