I am a nail tech and you can 💀if someone is not cleaning their utensils or pedicure bowls correctly and someone gets a staph infection. That’s why it’s so important to go to someone who is clean, licensed and insured 💯

As for the body modifications, only fools are out here thinking you can get major surgeries for "cheap". So when they do, I don't feel a lick sorry for them. The only person I would feel sorry for is a child. It would have to be a super special case for me to care about an adult who was dumb enough to do these things.

Like I read in one other comment. People will go down to Mexico for surgeries and dental work. Each time something goes wrong. They gotta keep going back. A coworker has braces that she got put on in Mexico. So she's going down there every month now for her check-up. I live in Arizona. Granted, she is Hispanic and she still has family in Mexico. But living here, I've seen a lot of botched Mexico procedures.

I got a black market root canal once. True story. Dude learned in the military and did a great job. He let me drink a 40oz during the procedure 🤣. I feel very lucky that it didn't turn out horribly. I will be less stupid moving forward.

My braces were cemented to the front of each tooth and a metal band was placed around each of my 4 molars in the back. A wire is then attached to the braces on each tooth and anchored to the molars, 2 on top ,2 on the bottom. As the teeth moved into place, I went back to have the wires "tightned" so that it would continue moving my teeth till they were in the right spot. It seems to me that orthodondists go through a lot of training to know how to make each tooth move in the right direction.
