I'm baffled by this. People say they want equality and an end to the racial divide, right? If you ask me, when you use a meme/GIF, whatever, of a black person to convey your emotions or take on a subject as a white person, it would seem to me that you are relating with the person in the meme/GIF despite the difference of skin pigmentation, right?
