I really think we have an opportunity here to unite humanity in being racist against robots. Thanks for watching today, and before this video is taken down for offending the AI gods, please go check out today's sponsor Noble Gold! https://tinyurl.com/86nuam7s CALL +1 877 646 5347

no because too many females like you are too emotional and attack men over a 3 minute edited video taken out of context from a relationship that went on for years.

I am in the in my early 60's and my entire career has been in some form of technology. I was using the Internet and email before most people even know that they existed. In my entire life, nothing has caused me more concern than AI, especially since I constantly hear people around me, in my industry, advocating the benefits. Not a single individual has ever mentioned any of the pitfalls as you have.

I wonder if AI waifus/husbandos are part of a collective Darwinian reset. The ones who fall for it never reproduce and fade from the collective gene pool. I for one at curious how it’ll turn out.

This is really creepy... I will not be investing in this. Good video though, Lauren.

Great topic! I find movies like "Her" to be more terrifying than other types of dystopian future movies because it is so plausible! When you see statistics about how many young men are living sexless lives thanks to the hypergamy of dating apps, something is going to have to give.

I’m finished with relationships. It’s all about what I can do for her social image, her pocket book, can I get under the hood, pay bills and look good doing it? No, bye.

Concerning the german movie about some guy with a child-like sexbot: I haven't seen the movie, and I too feel creeped out by the subject. But I have this question: This film may be dealing with offensive, depraved and bad ideas, as that of an adult having sexual relations with an imitation of a human child - replusive, yes, but is it also criminal? What I mean is: Where is the victim? For a crime to happen, there must be somebody suffering harm or loss. Since when do we accept thought-crimes within our juridical system?

The nail in the coffin of the human race will be if scientists ever develop real-life holograms, like the ones in Star Trek. Never-mind just human romance, our species will end at that point.

the worst part of all of this is that were along for the ride. nothing we do can really change that someone is going to at least try to invent this and well all have to suffer for it. and even worse, if these ai become sophistcated enough theyll be actual people anyways, but programmed to never leave their abusive spouses. what a horrible future for my kids lol.

Perverts will never turn in mass to AI in order to get their thrills - because robots, no matter how lifelike - simply cannot be HUMILIATED like an actual person victim.
@Augustus_Imperator Says:
This is already happening, and it started with social networks, of course it's not yet physical, but it's emotional and conceptual already. We don't give attention to real humans anymore, or very few, we stay on social media, chat with apps, watch videos on youtube, scroll instagram and twitter, it may seem nothing, but that's literally algorithms competeng for attention against other people, man are they winning. We don't pay attention to others, we don't search for others, we don't listen others, we only watch, listen and pay attention to what we want, to what feeds our dopamine system, the attention we will get by others if not influencers and that we will give to others, if not influencers, will be smaller and smaller until it will totally disappear in the near future
@LPikeno Says:
Not actually, Lauren. It's all about an AI PURPOSE that will define how it'll act according to your input. Let's say you purchase an AI with the "caring" personality (functionality, whatever you may call it), and let's use the definition of "caring" as "displaying kindness and CONCERN for others". Let's say you're overweight, or sedentary, alchoholic, drug abuser, anything; how do you think it will act towards you? Given that it has "shared experience" of thousands of human beings' behavioural responses, it will manipulate you according to your positive feedback loop profile and help you lose weight, reduce or stop drug abuse, among other things. That is not what concerns me (as in "AI just reinforce bad behaviour through acceptance", that's on the buyer to choose), what concerns me is the more "underground" (or illegal) kinds of bots that will surface. Immagine getting a perfectly manipulative AI into someone's life to gather information (a perfect spy), drive them into bad decisions (that benefit the maker, for one) and many other nasty things that can happen.
@ski6712 Says:
ai robot that is operating from a online source could be hacked and then turned against who ever it might be with at the time or any such scenarios will happen as it does now with computer /internet systems. this makes these robots lethal if an invader gets control of it.😕.
@josepablolunasanchez1283 Says:
Humans have internal and external beauty. Improving external with a robot is a matter of 3D modelling and sculpting on latex like material and have the proper actuators working in a way there is no uncanny valley. For some reason people insist in destroying their own internal beauty. In that case, a "kind words AI" would be enough to outcompete humans playing mental games. When you marry, you marry the internal beauty of another person, so when body ages, that beauty is still there. If people want to be internally ugly, so a robot can outpace them, it is up to them. The other option is to do a search overseas. It all depends on what people want. If people only want a sculpted robot to use, it is better for people as those who really want to commit would be the leftover of this robotic process. Problem is if marketing makes everyone look for robots. AI can deliver programmed patterns of kind words, but not what a real human can deliver.
@josepablolunasanchez1283 Says:
Lauren AI is just a calculator that uses statistics and calculus instead of arithmetics, to process a set of bar charts and produce a bar chart. The appearance of intelligence comes from speed and non linear results. Speed is not intelligence. Even a pocket calculator if faster than you at arithmetic. Human brain uses the energy of a light bulb while AI requires plenty of processing power to deliver. AI finds patterns in words and it can generate combinations of words like those internet "BS generators" do. So if you have a "kind words BS generator", AI could use a great database of kind phrases to appear to be a kind AI. But love is something completely different. Let me elaborate. It is easier to destroy than to build. And it is easier to build something (like a building) than to love someone. Loving involves the usage of the most advanced cognitive skills. For example, sometimes you need not to be extremely kind and agreeable if you love someone. Sometimes you need to be less kind when you need to correct a wrong that could lead to serious consequences for a loved one in the distant future. Imagine the cognitive skill to anticipate the future, and how to correct without hurting. Loving involves to find ways to guarantee a great long term future for a loged one. If there is a real singulatirty AI, it will be an AI capable of loving, but no one is working on that superior intelligence. Skynet is a dumb AI mosquito brain connected to lots of guns. Any AI able to deliver an apocalyse is a dumb AI, because if you put that AI to clean the floor, it would hurt the baby because it does not understand what a baby is and how to take care of a baby. For that dumb AI, a baby is just another furniture. You are falling for the marketing of AI of tech companies that try to present AI like an oracle that can read the future instead of just a non linear calculator that makes complex processing, but a calculator in the end. What you would not do with a bar chart, do not do with AI. A "love AI" would be a kind words generator. But that is just another "BS generator" that uses non linear patterns. A true "love AI" should be able to see what is better for your future and your happiness and AI is not even close, as the cognitive skills for true love are not being under any kind of research. If people will be in love with a kind word BS generator that would signal the end of civilization.
@tonygacs6249 Says:
Well, AI will take over everything sooner or later anyway. Humans himself will become superfluous. Human & technology will merge and maybe we will become cyborgs or something. Progress is unstoppable. And I hope it's coming fast. So yeah, I don't worry about AI Sexdolls. 🤣

While certainly the CGI for Blade Runner 2049 is better, I do think I prefer the original Blade Runner film. Mostly because it feels more real with less CGI in it. And it's creepier.

@syjrun Says:
If the best relationships in life are the ones that take time and effort then people will leave the robots. Those who don't will be bred out of existence. They will soon find ai cannot fill that hole in their soul.
@jacksnyder7318 Says:
Guys, can you imagine not having to deal with the 'silent treatment', having a relationship with a "person" Artificial or otherwise, that doesn't expect you to read her mind. Bring it. Nothing is artificial, that is of this universe, the difference is capacity and purpose. Synthetic humans can and will fullfil our needs and desires. Combating invasive programming by intrusive govt/Corp jerks will become a cottage industry of it's own and individual capitalist will succeed in defeating invasion of privacy programs. Human women cannot separate emotions from logical reasoning to save themselves or their relationships. The balance they brought was necessary before technology became electric ; )
@nathanprindler Says:
Valid concerns but it assumes that civilization could survive such a transition. We're already sinking as it is.
@onegoldengraham Says:
Wait until we give them rights
@insertoyouroemail Says:
It's already happening. I'd say this is just an evolution of porn. It's at worst a short term problem though; humanity has so many members in it for evolution to work out a solution quickly.

@aciidbraiin8079 Says:
I'm probably one of the few humans alive on this planet who will welcome the future wholeheartedly, even if we will live in societies with mass surveillance as never before, with chips in our bodies. I'm ultra-progressive and I've come to the point that I'm tired of humanity as a whole. As a transgender person I've got most of my support from drugs, not humans. It's hard for me to relate to humans, not because of my autism, I just think the world is getting even more crazy by the second so I prepare mentally for the end of our civilisations by a global nuclear war. Well, at least there's always suicide as an option then. We don't take our responsibility toward the animals on this planet or all the environmental pollution, poverty shouldn't exist, welfare should be a given, we should be happy if robots would make work obsolete and tax the hell out of every robot replacing a human being. Life on this planet could be easy for everyone if everyone prioritized their duties, respected everyone and didn't neglect the needs of other people by saying "The world doesn't owe you anything." When I was young I liked libertarianism, low taxes and democracy. Now when I'm older I think Mussolini is right. Democracy is a fallacy. It will lead to its own destruction as egoism thrives and people don't plan for future catastrophes. People will just become even more egoistic, shortsighted and stupid when they act in panic when the shit hits the fan. Ice age is coming and people feel like they can chill because it's always for the future generations to handle, while people focus on entertainment, celebrities and controversies in social medias.
