I don't know why I'm even listening to you, someone that gets information of South Africa exclusively from Right wing Boers. Boers get naturally apocalyptic when they aren't in control of things😂. Those boers you like to follow so much have been preaching the collapse of SA for decades, and no patriot pays them mind. Nothing will happen to South Africa girl. South Africans actually love their country, they'll never let things get too disastrous, I can guarantee that.

I’m thinking America had something to do with the destabilisation of SA. They get involved and destroy countries. They were behind the dismantling of Yugoslavia also.

It's all true. I'm very sad to hear and see it happening around us! It's still a beautiful country, nature-wise😊

Hi Lauren. Nice to see you back in touch with your roots and core beliefs. During the 80’s here in NZ the mere word apartheid was done to death by the media . Over and over. It was never out of the news. The Media dined out on it. Now the place has gone to hell in a handcart the media never ever go near it. I met a lady at my mothers rest home . When I first met her she shook my hand with an iron grip and said “ I am a Voortrekker from the Transvaal.” She also said that the black South African women want the Boers back as the rape and sexual crimes are insane. The current police system don’t give a shit and any police officer who is any good is immediately head hunted by private security which is booming in South Africa. I am not at all surprised that the facts are suppressed by the media who are the most corrupt institution in our society. Anyway nice to see you back and doing what you do best. Thanks god you haven’t gone woke. I realise your priorities are different now you have a child . Thanks for all your good work.

Ah, the infamous farm murders in South Africa—a topic so heated, it's like trying to roast marshmallows over a volcano! 🌋🔥 Picture this: a rural landscape, peaceful cows grazing, chickens clucking contentedly, and then... cue dramatic music... the not-so-friendly neighborhood robbers decide it's time for a surprise visit! "Extreme Makeover: Farm Edition," featuring impromptu home renovations with a touch of genocide! As for the statistics on these farm murders, well, they're a bit like trying to count chickens in a tornado—every time you think you've got a number, it flies off in a different direction! 🐔💨 In all seriousness, though, farm murders are no laughing matter. They're a sobering reminder of the challenges faced by rural communities in South Africa. But hey, if we can't find humour in the midst of chaos, what's the point of having funny bones? 🤪 So here's to hoping for a future where farmers can tend to their crops without worrying about unexpected guests crashing the party! 🌾🎉

Mandela is lionized in South Africa and all over the world as a great leader .But I would take issue with this.Doesn't a great leader know his own people and know what they are capable of ? And on top of that he married Winnie who said that "necklacing" was a great weapon to instill fear in her enemies.That refers to putting burning tyres around the necks of their enemy till they burned to death ,for those of you who are unfamiliar with recent S.African history. I still cant believe that the Whites gave in so easily and handed the reins of power to the ANC. As a young man back then ,I knew what was coming.Rhodesia X10. And I have never stepped outside Ireland ,the UK, Europe and North America.I dont think I need to ,or want to ,to tell you the truth!!

Isn't it funny that a Nigerian is commenting on other states in Africa ? @orbo Akin I agree that the ANC is failing in South Africa, just like ZANU- PF has totally failed in Zimbabwe - 100% agreed 👍 But just to give you some facts on Nigeria 1. Nigeria has long held the unfortunate token of the most corrupt state / or one of the most corrupt state in the world 2. Since oil was discovered in 1957, Nigeria has earned over $6 trillion, yet hardly any of that (if not nothing at all) of that has gone to, or benefitted the people of Nigeria 3. An overwhelming number of the black African migrants trekking across the Sahara in extreme heat, treacherous and dangerous conditions to try take the very unsafe and life threatening journey across the Mediterranean ocean to places like Greece, Italy, Malta, Spain, etc. are actually from Nigeria - yes !!! Nigerians fleeing the economic hopelessness that is Nigeria 4. When it comes to safety, you're not doing any better either - you're riven with religious ethnic violence that is Boko Haram forever fighting and causing terrorist bomb blasts and attacks on the Christian south, and vice versa if I'm not mistaken - just look at the number of church attacks and bomb blasts on churches in places like Kano and Maiduguri (and if you're honest you will admit religious ethnic violence takes an extremely long time to resolve, if never ever resolved at all - just look at South Sudan had to eventually break away from the rest of Sudan as they're Christian and the other part is pre-dominantly Muslim) 5. Other parts of the country aren't to safe either, kidnappings all over the place, etc. - Zimbabwe may have an awfully bad government in place, totally agreed there - but Zimbabwe does not have religious ethnic violence, kidnappings, etc. that's one thing from Zimbabwe that Nigeria would certainly love to have - I have a lot of Nigerian friends and I read and follow a lot about Nigeria. Zimbabwe is a relatively safe and stable country - other than petty crime as a result of economic mismanagement by the government and yes violence at election times by the government, Zimbabwe is relatively safe and peaceful, even South Africa is a lot more dangerous as their crime involves guns, etc. - ask any Zimbabwean to tell you this. I have a white Zim friend who's married to a girl from Europe and he was based here in London, he's gone back to Zimbabwe as he was tired of living here - admittedly he's approaching his fifties now and didn't like the London life any more - do you think he would be safe in Lagos, or anywhere else in Nigeria ? 6. I could go on and on about Nigeria but I choose to stop here, in fact as it is right now as we speak Nigerians are moving to South Africa, what does that say about Nigeria ? 7. And before anyone tells me Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa now, that's just by virtue of having the biggest population in Africa - mathematically they will and should be bigger than South Africa as there is some economic activity and growth going on - BUT THE OVERWHELMINGLY UNDENIABLE TRUTH IS NIGERIA IS AN ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DISSATER FOR THE MAJORITY IF NOT OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF NIGERIANS 8. So YES THE ANC HAS LOST ITS WAY AND NEED TO GO, I HAVE TO HONEST, IF I'M BEING BRUTALLY HONEST THE DA (DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE) SHOULD TAKE OVER - IT WOULD BE A GOOD THING IN M YOPINION (I must stress) IF SOUTH AFRICA HAD A WHITE GOVERNMENT AGAIN. 9. Zimbabwe has failed, and the ANC is failing in South Africa (100% agreed there) - BUT NIGERIA IS CERTAINLY NOT THE ONE TO LECTURE ANYONE IN AFRICA - YOU ARE AND HAVE BEEN A FAILED STATE SINCE YOUR INDEPENDENCE IN 1957 - TALK ABOUT THAT AS WELL, NOT JUST SOUTHERN AFRICAN COUNTRIES - DON'T BE A HYPOCRITE (WE'RE ALL AFRICANS, BUT I AM NOT A HYPOCRITE - I HAVE OPENLY ADMITTED TO THE FAILINGS OF ZANU IN ZIMBABWE AND THE ANC IN SOUTH AFRICA) 10. Hope you have a great day

Atm they want to put up the... I think it called the goods tax?? from 15% to 16%. When I bought my 1st car 9 years ago, it costed me R360 to fill up with 33liters. I just filled up my car for R780. I'm trying so hard to work and earn an income but then it basically all gets taken away.

South Africa truly has a lot of issues, issues that impact the poor and working class in major ways, but what is Lauren Shoutern's salution to the problem? To just pack up your stuff and leave, not bothering to at least try to fix things. Lauren is a privileged white, weak woman who runs at the first sign of trouble, leaving the commonfolk to weather out the storm and suffer while she mocks them from her ivory tower.

@andrewillemse2031 Says:
Unfortunately for us poorer South Africans there is no leaving for us. We are stuck in a country where the government suppresses minority groups and implement more racist laws especially against white people. The country is already a failed state unfortunately, but what can we do as South Africans? We have no opposition. We have no hope unless the Democratic Alliance takes over. The ANC can do whatever they want and get away with it and the world is just ignoring... What's making things worse is that people just keep voting for a failed government because they believe they own them something, but they don't own them anything. Each election the government would start making promises, fix potholes, and buy votes with empty promises and opening up shelters for the homeless just for a vote then after elections the government never fulfill their promises, close those shelters, continue to steal (Business as Usual) there's a lot happening not just in terms of a reverse apartheid happening. But all we can do is hope the 2024 general election will finally remove the ANC from power.

The same thing is happening in Europe now. I know its nowhere near as bad yet, but its happening slowly. Jobs and education not being given to the best person. Diversity hires are more important. Property is given away to people who have done nothing to earn it. Crime rates soaring. Everything's getting more expensive. Looting and rioting on the rise by people who think they should be getting more for free. Anti white racism on the rise, and some people still don't even think its possible that it exists
@AlexRavier Says:
To my white brothers in SA, leave this hellhole, come back in Europe, come back to your roots, you're much needed here, we have corruption and mass immigration to fight.
@dogsontherunproduction Says:
I'm a Zimbabwean living in SA, brought up by South African parents. It is incomprehensible how easily the violence kicks off under the guise of 'protest'. Last week they had 'taxi protests' the roads have been burnt and the violence escalated. People are so numbed, they think it's normal that ambulances, hospitals and schools get burnt down. No matter how bad things have been in Zim we have never seen such levels of violence. The excuse in SA is always related to apartheid, but I believe the violence was there long before, it is inherent in the culture.
@thebluedan Says:
If you want to wreck a place create an use black communists with a sense of self entitlement… like giving you car keys to a three year old Child and telling them to go for drive
@daggaboom Says:
First time viewer. I'd just assumed that nobody really cared about it. I saw this coming in '97 and got out, but you always hope to be wrong. during the pandemic when flights were shut down, so many South African flight workers weren't scared of the pandemic, it was having to spend time at home. Breaks my heart what the ANC have done to that crown jewel.
@ChrisJS1987 Says:
And it is all coming to a head now. So awful!
