Exactly! The apartments I lived in when I was in college, had so many refugees there . The manager said that the owner didn’t want empty apartments. So they worked with the refugee resettlement program. For the most part the people were good people just trying to adjust to their new life and do better for their families. But the children were very rough with other children on the playground and sometimes we had to get clarity about their customs because it was not okay in many of their cultures for example for a married woman to have her head uncovered. Our schools were very good in the area and worked to help the children adjust but the adjustment period was sometimes dangerous for our kids. I was told that having a disability probably kept me safer from being targeted by some of the men. Which scared me for my daughter. We moved out of there as soon as we had the opportunity to move

I agree with this because most people who are in pain are the refugees themselves. Nobody likes to be a refugee moving from place to place, being outcasts, and always feeling misunderstood.
