I've also seen scams where they just advertise "the box" that the desired product originally came in.

As someone who helps scam victims, we usually encourage these 3 things. File a report with your local law enforcement, file a IC3 report with the FBI or your countries equivalent agency, and contact your bank or sending financial institution and request a charge back. We encourage filing the reports first so you can use them as proof you've been scammed, and it makes the banks more likely to get your money back since they can back up their actions with the reports.
⚠️ Warning, there are many accounts on all social media platforms, including YT that will claim they can help get your money/crypto/account/ect. back. They can not! Only your bank or support for the platform you are using can get your money or account back. Anyone else claiming they can do so is a scammer. You also need to make sure it is actually support and not a scammer pretending to be support. If its from a sponsored link, dont trust it.

For those who don't already know, a famous scam baite named Kitboga developed a piece of free software you can put on your computer that will help detect scammer activity and the tactics they like to use.
It's mostly geared towards the elderly and people who are likely to fall for those kinds of scams on their computers, because I don't know of anything for cell phones that will help protect you. But regardless, it's called Seraph Secure for those interested. Younger people may not need it because they tend to be more aware of current scams. But if you have a grandparent or know an elderly person in your life, it would be a great idea to get them set up with something like this because so much of the digital world is still foreign and difficult for them. And it's very easy for scammers to take advantage of that.
