If I have an importing company to bring in materials that I need to build an item within the USA I have to pay the tariff to import it and then I will pass it on to the final price of my finished goods… You cannot add 10% tariffs to everything imported into the United States It’ll be the largest collapse ever the dollar will become worthless.

As far back as I can remember tariffs have been used to charge companies money for importing a product into the USA. Tariffs are very good for the labor force of our country. When companies leave our country to produce their products in another country for cheaper labor that hurts our employees here. So if a company leaves and imports their product, we should tariff their product to the maximum for at least a few reasons. One reason, so they don't leave. Two, what ever we collect is to help payoff our national debt. Three, is to create jobs here. Can you think of any other reasons for high tariffs. Toyota started building their cars here, who negotiated that?
