I hope many kids are inspired by this series and become entrepreneurs!

Anyone who pays $1million for a pair of trainers is a bloody idiot.
@ashevillecomics637 Says:
LOL, hate to tell ya kid, but "Prager U" is trash. Let's hope you haven't bought into the Trump cult. You seem smarter than that
@tomster7574 Says:
i dont blame anyone for selling anything for ridiculous prices, i blame the people who buy them for ridiculous prices. capitalism isnt a problem, consumerism is.
@StaticMotions Says:
Awesome video! Great for younger men to watch in order to see and appreciate the value of a work ethic mixed with knowledge (and no college). Do more of these videos please.

Great video. I wish it was more clear as to where he buys his sneakers: Goodwill, EBay, marketplace, etc,? These videos would be great to get into high schools.

I hate seeing any succeed that isn't me.

This kid brilliant! He is preventing consumers from being scammed. He has the skill to make sure they are getting the actual product they want and not a knock off. The very basis of retail sales is to buy low and sell high. He negotiates low enough prices from sellers that he is able to recondition the shoes and still provide an in demand product at a competitive price. I personally would never own a pair of shoes worth hundreds or thousands of dollars but I know people who do.
This is a wonderful example of capitalism. No part of this is a scam. Plenty of people that are into these shoes would jump at the chance to not pay full retail for an authentic, reconditioned pair of shoes. This kid is going to make his first million before he's 21 because he has the drive, creativity, and know how to see a market that has been under valued and unseen until now. Well done!

Awesome new content, Aldo!
@AmityPost Says:
Also, yeah. This is a value subtracted buisness.
He doesnt do anything for anyone except charge them more for the shoes they want.
Like, it doesnt take a lot of skill or intelect. I dont feel right playing stocks or resell games because at the end of the day you're just a ticket scapler.
You're taking the product off the market so the people who want it cant buy it from the source, then charging those people more so you can pocket their hard earned money.
Its vanity and selfishness. Like, its status quo in america. But its not helping anyone but yourself or making a better world.
@AmityPost Says:
Don't take this the wrong way but where's the credit for his parents?
Yes it's impressive that he did that. But $25k a year doesn't pay bills. Someone else paid his rent, food, car, phone bill...
His parents supported his dream. He'll probably make millions off the shoe resale company as it grows. But they should get the credit. We all had big dreams at 14. Most of us were told to shut up and mow the lawn for free.
I have an iq in the 99th percentile. When I was 12 I wanted to learn to write computer code. My parents said it was a waste of time. They bought my sister a laptop. Years later they gave me a free netbook that came with my mom's new laptop and it couldn't do much of anything.
Everyone always cheers so hard when 12 year olds chase their dreams and make it big. No one claps for the few parents who actually support their kids and make that possible.

I'm not sure you pronounce SNKR "Sneaker." It could also be "Sinker." That's kind of the risk you take when you don't use vowels.
@fluidicrift Says:
You should be pointing out how in the world so many kids like Garret who have brains and guts to work but are deprived of opportunities due to social attitudes, market restrictions (being under 18) etc.
The US is a lucky place where even a person under 18 can do this but go out of the US especially in Africa and Asia these attitudes are not encouraged and kids are forced to go into fields like STEM where they have no talent or passion when they could have started a good business like Garret.
@Blueblackngold Says:
I did this for 11 years. Something is definitely fishy here. 700k revenue maybe. Profit doubtful
