If the Democratic party was still like that, they might have had a chance in 2024. If JFK were alive today, he would have been a Republican.
@johnhall8116 Says:
So you're saying the economy is going to be bad in 2025? Noted.
@wazzup233 Says:
Who's watching here after Donald Trump won for the 2nd time just like Grover Cleveland.😉
@Eric_from_Toronto Says:
Canadian here and I just read up on Grover Cleveland today but was shocked (kind of) that he was known to be an awful man. He met his wife that he married during his first term. She was the daughter of his best friend (deceased), of whom he named his first son after, before he had his mother committed and son sent off for adoption. The mother claims the sex was NOT CONSENSUAL in an affidavit. Back to his wife, who was known to Grover since infancy and was executor of her fathers estate when she was 11. Was she groomed until she was of age to marry this deviant? 27 years older than her, 47 to her 21 years at marriage. She remarried after his death, I just suspect he was indeed not a good man but what do I know
@Anti-CornLawLeague Says:
He was America’s Javier Milei. Best President.

History is repeating itself. Trump is trying to be the 2nd president to come back and win a rematch for the presidency…..
@michaelman957 Says:
A Democrat who voted to cut spending regularly? That's surreal.
@broccolinyu911 Says:
What's with all the dislikes? 0.o I'm a bit confused there
@trujustice924 Says:
A better political time. And for those in the comments, the correct Trump comparison isn't Grover Cleveland who lost his second, but FDR who *won* three consecutive election.
@jec1ny Says:
Cleveland was not a bad president, but his record was marred by his willingness to turn a blind eye as his party systematically stripped blacks of even the most basic rights in the South.
@Christopher-hx6xm Says:
Thats the reason why they Hate Trump...you cant pay me off to get what you want
@alpha-omega2362 Says:
Syracuse University used to have a building named Grover Cleveland. I think it may have been a dorm , I think the building still exists. Apparently Cleveland was on the Board of Trustees and lived in nearby Fayetteville....
@patrickhayes9215 Says:
A man of great integrity! Like to drink, screw, have a bastard child and marry a woman who was 30 years his junior whom he had known since she was an infant. What a stellar role model. I thought i would get a different take from Prager U. "A Sterling Example" wtf?
@dickiegreenleaf750 Says:
It would be cool to have another in the history books! We need it!
@shadowbanned4626 Says:
Funny how Mckinley died in Buffulo... Hmmmm....?
@steveschein6935 Says:
I believe Trump will be the next president to serve two non-consecutive terms.
@kevintackett7564 Says:
WOW, sounds like a 2024 Trump presidency..
@rathofturkey Says:
So this is where Democrats get their delusions of being good and honest politicians.
@buddyjenkins7188 Says:
A principled Democrat, what a concept.
@brodyhagemeier9356 Says:
An example for today's politicians.
@shayd1984triton Says:
Fjb should be copying his honesty. The whole country is sick of his lies.

@theluffinater9470 Says:
Wow, PragerU making a factual nonpartisan video?!
@johnholliday5874 Says:
He maintained the record of President's second terms almost never being as good as the first. 2025 will be interesting.
@johnholliday5874 Says:
Cleveland's reputation made such an impression on a particular Colorado family as I deployed to Iraq with a young man named Grover Cleveland IV. (Not his last name .)
@frikitiki Says:
Why even bring up the topic of the popular vote because it has nothing to do with how we elect our President?
@AdrianSharpe-d5p Says:
Last honest Democrat.
@JonathanMoosey Says:
One of only two Democrats to become President between 1861 and 1933
@ctadam12 Says:
Trump 47🇺🇸
@carlmontney7916 Says:
When We look back at the history of our former president especially someone like Grover Cleveland, you can really see why the United States of America became the great country it is. Also, compare the Democratic party of his era with a Democratic party up today. There is no comparison. Grover Cleveland wouldn't even be allowed in the Democratic party of today. In fact he would probably be running as a conservative.
@Marc.1776. Says:
45 & 47 👀
@chefmatthewlafferty Says:
This man may have been the first conservative.
@barttheraven Says:
Three decades of Republicans? I was born in the wrong generation!
@Channelscruf Says:
A Democrat that vetoes spending bills? Where do I sign up?
@WoKEWoRLdMAdNess Says:
Back when Dems had still had some integrity.
@freedomwriter1995 Says:
Wish more democrats would follow Cleveland's example.
@SundanceHelicopterTours Says:
That was interesting! Thank you🫡
@veganconservative1109 Says:
A Democrat I would have happily voted for? I guess strange things are possible.
@johnwatts3469 Says:
A fitting tribute to a truly great president. He really did set a standard for the presidency. Keep it up, PragerU!
@Hard_Boiled_Entertainment Says:
Incidentally, Cleveland's defense against the wedlock allegation was actually pretty Trumpian: He basically went "Yeah, I did have sex with that woman. All my friends in the club did, too!" 😂 (Turned out the accuser had done time in an asylum for nymphomania.)
@1pt21jigawatt Says:
Last honest Democrat.
@gracemember101 Says:
I shouldn't be amazed at how much American history (both good and bad) was glossed over when I was in school (that was 50 years ago).
@Pack.Leader Says:
Add Trump to that incredibly short list of principled people in power. Interesting that he will also have a gap between his 2 terms as Cleveland did. I miss the world that used to contain people who held tightly to their values.
@texaslovelylady Says:
What the reporter said of Grover of his character brought me to tears of respect and admiration. 🥲
@markmaki4460 Says:
Since Cleveland was part of the same party that certain white sheet wearers were part of, it would be interesting to know his feelings and actions regarding civil rights. Heck maybe he would never have been elected president had the blacks not been so handily disenfranchised in the South after reconstruction.
@JiraiyaSama86 Says:
So, if you're an honest Democrat, the snakes in your own party will try to gut you. Sounds about right. That's why Tulsi was sabotaged.
