There is a lot to blame Netanyahu's government and the IDF for, but why is Ana not also yelling at Hamas for INTENTIONALLY using civilians as human shields? Why is TYT not also yelling about Hamas hoarding fuel and locating their operations beneath hospitals and schools? Israel has a lot to be blamed for, going back to 1948 and how they forcefully occupied Palestinian lands. However Hamas' wanton slaughter and rape of women and children is primarily responsible for the current war. Israel should be pressured into a ceasefire, but this has to be done in a way that does not benefit Hamas. Ana once again shows why she is not known for nuanced and honest reporting! It appears the IDF is raining random indiscriminate death. There are supposed to be around 40,000 hamas "fighters" out of 2.2 million Gazans. If 50 civilians are killed to get one terrorist leader is closely equivalent to what you'd expect from lobbing bombs randomly on populated areas based on the fact that 2% of them are Hamas.
It's not immediately clear if these Hamas members are actively "hiding behind" civilians so much as not going out of their way to isolate themselves from civilians. One would imagine any minimal effort at avoiding collateral casualties would at least lower the ratio of bystanders to terrorists killed as was presumably the case for the Bush era strike where "only" 14 died to kill one target.
