Yo Derrick. I'm gonna give you my honest feedback if that's cool - been following you for like a decade now so I feel like I've probably earned that right at this point 😆 I quite enjoyed the collaboration. Chris's cleans are epic. The songwriting was a little premature - I think the chorus wasn't catchy enough to merit three repeats. In general my favorite parts of the song was the breakdown with your growling vocals in the background. More screams in the foreground dude! Also Chris should scream his ass off sometime, that would be dope. Basically, the heavier the better. Haha. But I understand the inspiration and the style you were going for - I definitely hear the pop-punk/emo influence and I want more of it in my life. Love that you're putting out original music and it excites me to consider where this project could go - I bet Chris and yourself would make a banger of an album together, the harmonies would be godly 🎉
