The thing is he's not doing it from a selfless part of his heart he may be helping people but there's a direct benefit for him if there was no direct benefit for him he wouldn't. I say this because I just saw a video of Mr beast in an interview saying he charged a guy $250,000 just to say hi to his kid. Dude is a business mogul.
@HalfB Says:
So what, it’s capitalistic altruism for profit and awareness so to me more is better. Just like the videos that record a person buying food , clothes,warm coat for clout but yet the person still benefits. The Only pure altruism is 100% anonymous…..it’s the highest spiritual value but…. Give till you feel it. Be well ✌️
@jacobbaker5442 Says:
at the end of the day he is helping people but I also feel rubbed the wrong way by him
@trickstabber8117 Says:
He is essentially a successful narcissist.
@darfjono Says:
why does it have to be the government? private citizens do it better always. notice none of his very wealthy detractors have done this.
@octoxem Says:
U WAS IN SPEEDD LIVE
@carolnearson7932 Says:
“Exploiting” the poor by helping them? Makes no sense to me that it’s a problem for those who are not helping people! It’s not a problem for me that he does it.
@LordVader066 Says:
He's a billionaire. All billionaires when they do something "good" actually have an evil ulterior motive
@katiegamble1457 Says:
He's doing great things don't get me wrong I like him but he gives me anti-christ vibes lol 😂
@gavinlafleur7570 Says:
People somehow acting morally superior to Mr. Beast when he’s the one curing people’s blindness.
@nationalsocialist6590 Says:
Solidarity>Charity.
@vilehero3621 Says:
The ooroborus comment was head on. Start do good deeds monetize it use the funds to do more deeds after a time you maybe getting more back that you need so you can reinvest to grow the company of doing good deeds and monetize it.
@hahaha1171 Says:
The lighting on your wall makes it look like you're at the top of a stairwell. It's making me nervous 🤣
@drakeirons6307 Says:
I love your logical takes. Its his mustache, that what gives you weird vibes cuz it does me
@vlover15OO Says:
Oh no mr. Beast is exploiting low income people by CURING THEIR BLINDNESS! Please exploit me mr. Beast, my truck needs some new suspensions
@josephfinnegan151 Says:
Any chance of uploading a video on the FLAT EARTH TOPIC ?
@OoTZOMMMoO Says:
I think it's because of his punchable thumbnail faces
@Sylusssss Says:
He definitely isn't a clout chaser, his first brand deal he turned down as a broke collage dropout and negotiated more because he wanted to give it to a homeless man to fix his life, and that's how the whole snowball of everything started It's always been about helping as many people as he possibly can since then.
@109thstar Says:
Are you shadow banned or something? 380 000 subs but you rarely hit over 10k views, seems odd? Thats like 2,5% of your videos reaching your subscribers. Love your content man, keep up the good work.
@williamreynolds3487 Says:
If he didn't make money on his videos, he wouldn't be able to keep helping people. This should be common sense.
@rickjenkins5813 Says:
HERO. You people ain't doin NUFFIN positive in the world..only take and what can someone do for you. You people wouldnt even pick up a piece of trash on the ground and throw it away. You cannot feed the homeless without consequence either. Don't talk about it... Be about it!
@CWojcieszak Says:
"Oh you filmed yourself ending world hunger you're a piece of shit clout chaser" Ridiculous
@derekstevens96 Says:
The government sucks private charity is much more efficient
@andrewtim1989 Says:
It seems like he's helping a lot of people but he's just helping people frequently, guy could build hospitals in developing countries and help millions but you can't fit that into a video
@dustind.291 Says:
I think he’s both, yes he helped the blind hes gives some of his profits but with it giving he would not received because it’s what his content relies on. It’s great his content helps people but look how well he’s manipulated his viewers to follow him undoubtedly which is making his sponsors and him lots of money. He’s not helping people out the heart he’s just tossing money to make money so yeah that’s a scum bag but him being a scum h bag helps people
@Beardshire Says:
He spends money to make money, everything is for profit, everything is for clout. Is that bad? Not necessarily, if he doesn't get those things he can't do any kind of cycle.
@ninjaruss4205 Says:
Sometimes the ends justifies the means. People are just petty and envious. You know they'd completely change their stance if mr beast helped them. Which is why they don't deserve it
@Loesters Says:
Love Mister Beast. He freakin healed the blind. And yes, the man reaps what he sows. He is correctly universal blessed.
@Mengha Says:
Those idiots on twitter hating on him watched "The Good Place" and used it as their moral framework.
@TragoudistrosMPH Says:
Well...if he is profiting, making more in ad revenue than he is spending on charity... At the end of the day, people are being helped, so that's a win-win. Charities are judged by the percentage kept vs percentage spent helping.
@11superstar1997 Says:
Use me as a dislike button
@millabasset1710 Says:
his fake philanthropy is the problem in American society, the fact he can retire now off being a fraud is what's wrong here. Honestly YouTubers are incredibly overpaid, you can make more than a nuclear engineer or a surgeon.
@Bones12x2 Says:
The idea that the government should offer this service is why its good that Mr. Beast did... The governemnts role is not to steal peoples money to help other people... Why stop at blindness... How about the government just take everyones money to solve all the problems.... Oh wait... Thats communism... It doesnt work. But individuals acting on their own wth their own money to help people does work, even if its done for profit... Still works.
@Bones12x2 Says:
The same people who are hating on Mr. Beast are usually socialists or communists who literally believe that the government should forcibly take peoples money to "help people" despite the fsct that it's not done by free will, they always abuse their power, and are always inferior at providing the help.
@stephenaitcheson6626 Says:
He's making a positive dent in the world..... Sure he's monetizing his act of kindness, but at the end of the day, OTHER PEOPLE watch it in order to make YouTube pay him. It's just fuel for the machine. At least he's using some of his wealth to help others. Don't like it, don't watch IMO. NGL, that muhf*$ka has got to have the creepiest looking face in all of social media. The guys at Flashgitz did a vid on him that was pretty hilarious 😂
@nellen55 Says:
50% of blindness being fixed or this makes 100% sense with third world countries. I seas a documentary of a doctor's going over to North Korea to do this. It's called inside North Korea if you want to see it. Also, my dad had the surgery done. Very simple
@jameshurley776 Says:
The serfs aka lance is a brainlet and a joke
@MaverickChristian Says:
If Mr. Beast spent his money to make a game show YouTube episode, nobody would've complained. He spent his money on an episode helping blind people, people complain. WTF?
@perolito83 Says:
At the end of the day, he still helped all those people to get their eyesight back, who cares if if he also makes money from it? I guarantee you that the people he helped do not. I get being mad at the system, but that's not his fault.
@f5checker Says:
People who complain about him need to look in to him more and watch some of the longform podcasts he was on, because he explains alot in those. Almost all the money he makes on youtube videos goes right back into youtube videos... also by making these sorts of videos he raises awarenes of the problem, now more people know about it and might also want to help
@billieeisenhower406 Says:
Kavernacle made a good video on it
@AlphaChinoz Says:
Oh man, what has happened to you (some black guy)? Haven't seen you in my recommended for ages (subscribed to too many), but now you seem to have some skin problems and your new studio literally looks like a cupboard...? Hope you're alright, man!
@Sevorsin Says:
If you have to ask yourself this question you are the scumbag
@whitekong1033 Says:
Some peoole have never heard of Jimmy Saville and it shows
@HalendleofLoc Says:
There's nothing wrong with profiting off of doing something that you love.
@Yodalemos Says:
Dude have you been religiously watching MSNBC or something? First Rogan, now Elon. If you are against the Tesla car being given, you should be against every single car being given. This is media trained hypocrite brain you are displaying. I'm against every car being given because I think its a horrible industry from every company involved and also perpetuates car culture, which has ruined city design, walkability, health, emissions, etc. Seriously, stop with the brain worms, Tesla is no worse or better than any of the other companies, you are deluding yourself.
@MarcLombart Says:
The cataract surgery he paid for is covered in Canada. My mother needed it, the mother of a friend just had it, no cost to them. Cataracts seem to be a problem of aging, but also environment. Too much UV light in your eyes will do it.
@MarcLombart Says:
Not only did he help out a lot of persons, he brought attention to the problem. Hero.
@si_quest Says:
It's funny because I do feel weird about Mr Beast's content. Something about it is dystopian and awkward. Some of the ideas he has are the kind of gameshow ideas that would have been satirized in the past by the Simpsons for example or seen in the movie Idiocracy. Except now they're praised and gobbled up by millions of kids. However, on the flip side, as long as his videos aren't too staged, he is technically helping people. So it's hard to argue against. I think the issue is the manner in which a good deed is done. There is definitely an argument to be made that he could technically make all the whacky videos for $$$ and separate the good deed stuff like helping blind or homeless etc... could be done without a camera and he would still have plenty money left over. There are many people who are doing good deeds, and filming them, but it's usually done in a way more tactful way.  What's MrBeast's next idea? let's go to an orphanage and buy orphans parents?
@SaintTrinasTorch Says:
This was a pointless video.. His product model only SURVIVES on clout and publicity. It’s a way of advertising because he has one of the biggest channels on YouTube. And WHY NOT share something so extraordinary? Holy fuck. How about the many people that clout chase on the coat tails of larger channels? Especially when all they provide for criticism is half baked speculations and assumptions. Mostly sounds like envy. So maybe take a step back and reflect on yourself. 😂 GGs
