Unfortunately the current election results don't support that politicians on both sides of the isle should have been voted out.

EpochTimes? Can we trust this hard rightwing haters of SS. Don't think so.
@kidshealthcarerocks Says:
Fixed income retirees who paid FICA for the previous generations should not get shafted by the USA because you think it’s UNFAIR. It is easy to screw vulnerable people (children, seniors, and handicapped persons). You ended your video by suggesting the current generation shouldn’t have to pay. We can balance the budget by taxing the rich, increasing corporate taxes, and fixing greed in healthcare (and I’m a doctor) without punishing the poor for being POOR. The concept of social security was conceived and implemented during the great depression (maybe you’d like to consult a book or two). It sounds like you would like to go back to the good old days when seniors died in poverty. It seems like the best deal for retirement would be prison. BTW, your political agenda is pretty clear. Try not pretending to present an unbiased opinion.

Buy gold and crypto.
@michaeltinaboldman3127 Says:
Yes I would like to see that.
@Dr.TJ1 Says:
The wage base goes up every year, so that’s no surprise. What the government could do if they need to jump start the economy is get rid of the wage base altogether and lower the tax rate to 4.2% putting 2% more into 80% of the population’s hands. More money to spend or save, which would jump start the economy.
@MrJoeybaby2010 Says:
To live in this world you'd NEED about 5,000 a month. Sure aren't going to get ENOUGH to "retire" completely. You'll need to work until you DIE.
@k.b.142 Says:
I would like you. To do the episode on SSA insolvency.
@dannyboy6754 Says:
The COLA increase is a joke. When I've received mine which was about 30 bucks a month. My insurance company for house, car, internet went up a total of over 50 bucks a month more for no reason. It's impossible to keep up. I'm one step from losing my home now and due to a dictator SOB, we are all screwed. It's a farce and we wonder how we end up homeless and hungry. WE ARE SCREWED!🤬
@robtopham6095 Says:
Roman I listened to your video a few weeks ago and facts always matter. I would suggest getting a real expert on Social security (like Ed Weir) and he's the guy that knows all these facts. The rules are extremely complicated and I know for a fact that the income limit on wages while taking social security is stopped in the year after you turn your full retirement age (here is SS info for this https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-01921#!#).
@myalias2812 Says:
Yes please make a longer video & see if Musk & Vivek will hire you!
@myalias2812 Says:
$600 more a year will push many into a higher tax bracket. Even if you don't earn extra income. Then the kid at Subway, the manager at Home Depot will get a salary decrease. And employers will make less profit. Everybody loses.
@gregroderick4528 Says:
Think it's bad now just wait awhile . You have not shit 😂😂
@katherinewagner987 Says:
$50 ain't going to do s***t
@LoriMcDonald-k1j Says:
Roman,when all the invaders are sent back home ,won't social security gains be returned to the over65 poorest disabled seniors that have had to go without last year and this year. 50 crummy bucks, really when invaders technically stole. How can a dementia ridden man be responsible for his forced signatures for anything.the new gov with trump should be able to reverse that admin. Action for that. Poorest need at least 3000 not 1200 month to live. Easy way is to end all benefits for recent arrivals and last check is a ticket home. Bus to plane. Obviously widening ss for noncitizens gave far less for those who are Americans. Inflated seriously their small money, really criminal in their last few years of life. The invaders should have to pay out of their work checks for their plane tickets. Why would they want to stay as their free ride ends. Incentive to go where they belong. I am sure a lot of Americans even died early because they did not have the basics, no one cared. And their pets were all sent to the pound and killed too because of greedy invaders. Sad.

FACT: illegals working in the country under a false social security number still pay into the system but can never claim that money! Mass deportation will vaporize about two billion annually

@RicTheAzorean Says:
FALSE FLAG headline. There is nothing new here. COLA adjustment’s big trick is using three specific summer months. It should be the average monthly increase, times 12. This explains how this happens since 1987, I think. So no new changes, no new accounting.
@pmurrayrn Says:
Media Bias/Fact Check says this about The Epoch Times: "Publication of pseudoscience and the promotion of propaganda and conspiracy theories, as well as numerous failed fact checks" Which goes a long way in explaining, I believe, why this little guy is dressed the way he is
@silvertube52 Says:
What your conservative spin fails to mention is that the tax increase is only on those making more than $168K a year, and even on them it's a rather small increase. So what are you suggesting? Making elderly and disabled lives harder, or a small increase for those making a lot of money. Be real.
@eddiegarcia7669 Says:
No thanks keep your chump change
@admtahoe Says:
SSI is running out and they keep increasing payments....something is seriously wrong with the system, no one should be paid more than they put in, when their investment + interest hits zero they should no longer receive payments.
@admtahoe Says:
I would like to know who put 1500 a month or more into SSI when they were working? If you pay more than people put in then it will run out. People were told for decades that they need to plan for retirement and save money, I guess it was more important to have all the fancy toys and phones. The gov't can and most likely will fund SSI, there is no way they let it run to zero. On the other hand Biden and Kamala are starting WW3, we will soon be rid of millions of people for the great reset.
@Raven-Algiz Says:
Well kids it's going to be interesting to see what the folks who voted for Trump are going to do when MAGA starts tearing down the government and taking away your social security payment. They said they would and they're going to do it
@slorider1433 Says:
Full length episode so I can feel even more depressed
@TerryS-u1e Says:
Increase the level where people stop paying into the trust fund ($150,000) to $400,000. Stop paying lifetime salaries to members of Congress who are no longer in Congress, and stop paying their health insurance after they leave Congress too.

@porkchopjp Says:
this country is doomed
@rayreyes8497 Says:
Once you reach full retirement age your social security is not reduced regardless of how much you make! 2:45
@kathrynw6373 Says:
Lol "More of a working person's income will be taxed" ... you mean taxed like a lower "working person's income" is already? November 2024: No, there was no debate or vote concerning the raise in taxed income, neither was the initiation of WEP/GPO in which President Regan signed into law back in 1982; starting the steal of monies from workers of this country! The Senate (House passed it) needs to repeal the WEP/GPO (in December?) so those of us (Fire, Medical, Police, Teachers and all associates) can receive our full Social Security amounts, not be penalized, in which we PAID into the system without a choice; just like everyone else. Congress, raise the ceiling amount (presently $168,800 earned income) in which FICA (Social Security) is taxed! "Oh, but if we repeal WEP/GPO it will hurt Social Security" and "But those taxed with higher income (or even increase over $168,800) they won't get all that they put in (but still have hefty income)". So with that criminal manner of thought (it's theft what else does one address it?), it is okay to burden and steal from the backbone workers of this country who make less and can't receive their full monies in which they PAID into the system, yet the wealthier population isn't taxed fully as those who make less and that part, that is okay?! No one in that group is asking for a handout, people should be able to receive the full dollar and not less; for example, forty cents on the SS dollar and that is before taxes! Senate, stop the steal of Social Security monies from the workers of this country going day in and day out (and the widows of such workers); vote to REPEAL THE WEP/GPO.

So many lies. WTF? And the little weasel's not even any good at it...
@NotAsTraceable Says:
They need to go through the people on social security disability and investigate how many actually should have been approved to start with. Talk about a system that is abused.
@jefferypfister6499 Says:
Incorrect on limits after full retirement age. There is no limit on earnings if over fra
@TeresaMicheals Says:
With inflation creeping up again and my savings already stretched, I’m worried about how these changes might impact my retirement plans
@e.peterpfaff1390 Says:
You fail to tell your audience that after they reach full retirement age there is no reduction in their social security benefits based on post full retirement earnings. For this reason your presentation is deceptive.
@bobbylockard3174 Says:

@User-4-mn3or Says:
And don't forget, their medical insurance is covered 100% !!!!! This is unfair on every level
@User-4-mn3or Says:
Medicare always goes up so we Never really get an increase! But our bills keep going up!!! This is so unfair to seniors.
@koalasez1200 Says:
You forgot the increase in the Medicare premium. We paid into this all our lives so don’t give us this quote about ‘everyone wants to live at the expense of the state’. That would be welfare recipients, not retirees who contributed and earned this; for many of us this is our only income. A lot of companies required service of five or ten years by rank & file employees before being vested in pension program. They conveniently laid people off just before their vested date and here we are.
