—You could point to how her and Biden kept the 20% tax deduction for S corporations (most are small businesses) in the Inflation Reduction Act from the Trump era Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to ensure small business growth has continued to boom. You could then point to how her adherence to current code versus Trump spiking tariffs, for example, would be better suited for economic growth and less price inflation.

I could care less how black men vote. If Trump wins I'm not in trouble, I'm white, I don't have to be afraid that some cop is going to shoot me because I'm reaching for my glove compartment. I grew up around real hard ass cops. If I'm walking by a robbery scene a cop is most likely going try and protect me. I walk for my health and I've been out walking when the cops were looking for a burglar. Two cars dove by me and one stopped to warm me that there was a burglar running around and I needed to be aware of the danger. He even offered to keep checking up on me until I got home safely. I'm not followed around when I walk into a store. I walk at a mall for my health on rainy days and the mall cops say hi to me every time they see me. I also have good relations with black people as well as white people. I'm not an immigrants and neither were my parents. My family came to the US in the early 1700's with Christoph von Graffenried. But I would tell any black man to his face that if he votes for Trump then he isn't to damn bright. One thing Trump said sticks in my mind like glue, in that protest on Washington Trump asked if it would be possible for the cops to just shoot the protesters in the legs. Trump invited Kyle Rittenhouse to Mar-a-Lago. Now that should tell you who Trump is at heart. Now Trump is running on being a hard liner, he's going to be tough as nails and this time around he has immunity. This time he is much closer to being able to order troops to shoot protesters in the legs. You think that white people are going to protest with black people under those conditions? I doubt very seriously if many black people will be protesting under those conditions. Trump also said that cops should be able to stop any person they see and search them without cause. So I say vote for him if you don't mind losing your rights. You see, it works both ways, as a Democrat I loose a little when black people vote for Trump but if Trump wins then I gain because if Trump can make it possible for cops to search anyone they choose for any reason then I will gain because it will get criminals off of the streets.
So you see why I could care less? If Trump loses my candidate wins but if Trump wins my safety increases. But for Trump to increase my safety in such a way, then people have to lose their rights. And that is exactly what was happening when Trump was President and cops felt empowered, black men were losing rights. Just remember how the right wing sees black men, (they represent a small part of the population but are responsible for most of the crime). As we debate the response of hurricane Helene I want to remind black men how the right wing felt when they saw a photo of a black male boy carrying some food over his head and wading through the water after hurricane Katrina; he was a looter the right wing said and because of that child the black people finally got troops on the scene, not to rescue but to shoot black men that they suspected of looting.
