Steven, you talk a lot about building a strong family, and the greatest component in success in a person is the presence of a father. Only giving the men in your company 2 weeks of paternal leave and telling them "And men, sorry, go back to work" is completely contradictory to that idea. I think there was a great performance from both parties. For me the division in politics has been toxic for a long time. Both sides just attack attack attack. But in this debate i felt confident in they way these gentlemen found alot more to agree about than what is expected. We need to unify this country. I believe there is alot of commonality in the heart of all these hot topics. On the subject of the childcare. When my son was born, i was given 5 days unpaid leave even though i qualified for the state paid paternal leave. This is one of the few matters i actually disagree with crowder on. I wanted nothing more than to stay home with my child and his mom so i could be there during the early months, learn how to be a parent, give her relief when she needed it. And not have to worry about working on 2-3 hours of sleep because ive got a screaming newborn and exhausted wife midnight to 3 in the morning. During those couple early months when sleeping is difficult and you have purple crying, its hard on everyone so being able to have both parents at home at least for a little while can make a huge difference.

YES women deserve bodily autonomy, but within Reason -- and of course with the caveats of R. and I. and danger to mother. I am SOOO disappointed this went to state because there are states that have gone too far. I believe it is a true human right and should have been federal to a certain week and 15 sounds right - with exceptions. And that anyone who has any moral issues with it should not be forced to be involved on any level, including taxes.

I’m feeling very optimistic about this debate. It was refreshing, civil and down to earth. Its about time politicians started with our own backyard. (Maybe yeah we should stop the bleeding…)
To their credit, they successfully created a little room to breathe, missing some of the bigger topics allowed the media induced npcs of the world to touch grass and recall their humanity. We are in agreement more often than not when sincere. Controversial stories do result in a lot of social media virtue signalling….but good vs evil often takes place in the centre of the logos. Where free people reign! This war is for Middle earth folks…the extremes on both sides abandoned truth and compassion a long time ago….
Common sense is a key available to all.
