I cannot stand Robinson. I think he is an idiot and I am worried he may win the election. But, the context of the women voting is important. He was asked if he would rather go back to when blacks were swing from trees or when women couldn't vote. He picked women not voting as the better option. He also went on to say that Republicans would fight for the right for women to vote. Robinson has said a lot of horrible and stupid things. We don't have to take one out of context.
On a side note, I find the question a little stupid. Women got the right to vote 104 years ago. Blacks were still being lynched well after women got the right to vote. So, to go back to a time when women couldn't vote would also mean going back to Jim Crow laws and lynchings.
