Everyone seems to forget, it all started because Trudeau wanted to impose even MORE restrictions on truckers who went into the USA, they wanted to add a 14 day quarantine period, which of course no trucker could afford to have their truck sit for 14 days. This was on top on some of the most restrictive covid rules in any intdustry.

I think it's important to point out that during the three-week protest, there was no violence, except for actions by the police. People of all nationalities were there peacefully, enduring minus 30-degree weather, giving up their paychecks, risking their jobs, and facing prosecution for standing up for what they believed in.
Downtown Ottawa was the safest it had ever been. They were making and giving away food for free, feeding the homeless, and setting up bouncy castles for kids.
They were labeled as hateful, even though they calmly spoke to anyone who disagreed with them.
They were referred to as a fringe minority and told they were taking up space, but because of their actions, they inspired similar movements around the world.
Tamara Lich is a Canadian hero, and the truckers, farmers, and others who stood with her represent the values that make this country great and make me proud to be Canadian.
