The problem is a personal responsibility problem. All of those things can be treated with exercise. Yes there is a rise in oils, sugars, proteins, and everything in between because we live in abundance. Is it possible there is a problem with the process sure, but we know for sure there is a problem with how most Americans live.

We use very little seed oil in my home. In fact we just through out whole jugs because it was all old and rancid and have not bought any new.
@lars9925 Says:
The problem is that this stuff is in everything that isn't completely unprocessed. I cook mostly with olive oil and butter, but I probably consume too much of that anyway.

Oh!! Unrefined, virgin coconut oil is also a mainstay for me....I eat it and also swish it around my teeth after all the brushing, flossing, etc. I use it for cuts and small injuries as well. Great stuff!
@bluespruce679 Says:
I started using safer oils back in the 1990's....oils such as evoo (extra virgin olive oil), and avocado oil.....however, recently, last few years, I've had to become more choosy in that it's generally suggested to buy these better oils that are produced from one country of origin, rather than sourced from several countries. It's one thing or another! Since March 2020, I began making small changes to my diet....I learned about Dr Eric Berg, and began to avoid certain "foods" and incorporate certain other foods, for example, I gave up bread and sugar. Wow! I began to feel better! Then I gradually gave up carbs/starches like noodles, rice, regular flour-made products....Wow! I began feeling even better! I began making cabbage salads, adding plenty of other fresh ingredients like avocado, pepper, apple onion, and nuts like walnuts or Brazil nuts, cheese, and seeds like chia seed, ground flax seed, and other more potent stuff such as nutritional yeast, and spirulina! I'm never going back to the traditional American diet! I've lost over 20 lbs and I'm in tip top shape! I also exercise/dance regularly...been a lifelong exerciser/dancer. I'll be 70 in November of this year, and I've never been this healthy! I'm a Believer in Christ/Yeshua the Messiah....and prayer to the Lord Most High keeps me in tip top condition spiritually! So, there it is folks! Shalom! 💜💙🕊💙💜🎶💃🎶✡️✝️🎶💃🎶💜💙🕊💙💜

@bjsummers2126 Says:
I learned about bad hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils 35 years ago watching a Christian doctor on a local Christian network that used to be overweight and he spoke in great detail and showed examples of what these hydrogen needed oils do to our bodies and ever since then I've never bought these oils. I currently use for sauteing and high heat coconut oil and I am aware of avocado oil is a high heat non-toxic oil. And then when I lower the heat I'll add butter for the flavor if needed. • Coconut oil • Avocado oil • Butter The problem is when you eat out in restaurants. You don't know what oils they are using. And for the last few years I can taste the poor quality when eating chicken. So I rarely order anything with chicken anymore. I stopped ordering salmon years ago because most salmon and restaurants are farmed. Best place to buy salmon in my area that is, is from Trader Joe's. I also heard if few years ago that a lot of other fishes are and have been farmed as well. Which means loaded with toxic chemicals . True story: I was in a local "Sprouts" health food store at the meat counter and I had a conversation with a British woman who told me she had moved to America the prior year with her daughter. And she told me that they became very sick very quickly in it was from the food. She said her daughter was much worse than she was and she can only buy organic and top quality and of course the most expensive food. It did not surprise me at all to tell you the truth because I've been into holistic health since my twenties so for a few decades now and I've known and heard medical stories and reports about chemicals that year has banned from their food manufacturing but is still allowed in America. America is slowly becoming a third world country on so many levels it's frightening even in the medical industry here. It is very visible and obvious to where family members and friends and co-workers are talking about it on a regular basis . Our infrastructure has been antiquated for so long. The utilities companies the government local municipalities are not using our taxes appropriately in this area in other words they are not upgrading the infrastructure. And states like California where there is a lot of devastation due to fires insurance companies are pulling out of California or jacking their rates so high people are freaking out they can't afford it many moving out that's just the infrastructure and there's so so much more to that . I was watching a video earlier today from a farmer talking about the meat industry and cows and the monopoly of corporate food conglomerates and how it has devastated our ranchers in our farmers including the milk farms. The worst part is some of these horrific things have been going on under the radar and unknown by the majority of the public and it almost feels like it's too late in some of these areas to reverse the damage that has been done . When you hear about other places like Singapore and others that are so clean and pristine. People post videos when they visit these and they show you so you can see with your own eyes. It literally feels like America is going down hill on so many levels and it feels irreversible. Between government corruption and greedy corporate conglomerate monopolies and on the spiritual side removing God and prayer from our schools 65 years ago. Our country is much worse than it was when I was younger. The saddest thing is, is what has brought us to this place: decisions, made by leaders local state and federal, political bills/policies, enacted/passed laws and oftentimes unknown to the general public until it's already passed. When I visited Arizona in the past I noticed a lot of people who were growing their own food in their backyards either in the direct soil or planter boxes and I think mostly planter boxes because of the soil and the hot heat there and even an apartment living in condos if allowed people are growing whatever they could there as well. The problem is when you're working the grind full time 50 hours a week including travel time who has time to maintain your food and the required way it takes to produce good fruit and veggies. There are certain foods that are lower maintenance . I remember seeing a video years ago I can't remember which country it was in an Asian country and this guy was using plastic litre size bottles, cutting them in half putting holes in the caps in some of them and others not and screwing the caps back on turning them upside down filling them with excellent soil and not only growing herbs all indoors by the way but growing a certain foods it was unbelievable and amazing so you can do it. Another huge problem that I've witnessed and I'm living myself is the work week ever since the mid-2000s corporations in my area have never fully replenished the workplace and I believe what happened was because the economy is was so bad after the mortgage debacle in the mid 2000s it affected the economy for years and companies did not lift their hiring freezes for 5 to 8 years the way they had done in the past. And I believe as a result of that they realized after they did their rounds of layoffs right after they're hiring freezes which resulted in a lower workforce the only way that work force could meet the demand and deadlines was to work overtime and that's basically what's been happening for the last 20 years now and it is devastating employees. My friend told me at a company which is a national job agency placement company at in their corporate office the stress was unbelievable. By the way, when her and I were looking for jobs in local recruiter told us to avoid two companies one was people soft and one was Robert half international he said we do not place job candidates in those companies and I asked him why and he said because they are known to be workhorse companies and in order for the recruiter to make their commission when they place a candidate in a company, that candidate must work in that position for a minimum of three months before the recruiter can make their commission. So for the two companies I noted above he said they lost a lot of their commissions because the candidates ended up leaving the work environment was that bad so rather than losing their commission on a continual basis they just stop placing people there. I was shocked pretty sure that with me but it made total sense. And my friend told me she found out the hard way and landed a job at one of those companies and was a top producer in her position and they were giving her deadbeat managers portfolios expected her to manage or continue to manage her own in a very excellent way now she had to take on these lazy managers bad accounts and she couldn't do it in 8 hours plus she had eight people reporting to her so she had to work overtime and for years this is the life that many people have been living now in certain parts of the country it is much worse I can tell you that oh silicon valley is definitely notorious for this by the way in one of those places. So there are a lot of very troubling issues plaguing America right now. It is an older person it is very concerning to recently find out that the government is literally dipping into social security and Medicare to help pay for hotels cell phones food miscellaneous multitude of other things to people who have not come here through our regular laws. It is frightening. We have to turn our hearts back towards God. We need to turn from our wicked ways and repent of our sins ask for forgiveness and live our lives according to his beautiful written word as I never lasting guide for us to live by. So that even in trouble times like these we can experience his peace even in the darkest of times and not only has this been documented in times past in his word and through historical document written stories of people's lives it even applies to our day. It does not mean that we do not suffer it just means we can walk everyday and still experience his peace and his love covering us and feeling us even in the darkest times. But the key is to draw closer to him. In prayer and in reading his word. We need to encourage one another and lift one another in his love and by his love mercy and grace working in us so that we may share his great love with the world. 💜🤗🙏

We use Butter, olive oil, coconut oil, lard, and tallow - in that order
@successandlifestyle Says:
Gluten-free products are a problem too there are lots of seed oils in them.
@successandlifestyle Says:
YES, seed oils are bad. They have been infiltrated throughout our foods, so it can be tricky avoiding them. Stopping adding them to your home cooking and salads can be a quick start. You'll find that onions cook nicely simply in water, a lot of foods do. As your restaurant to steam your vegetables and add no seasonings, unless you know the restaurant well. Order salad, no dressing with some lemon/lime wedges on the side to squeeze onto the salad. Although I agree the food pyramid is poor, I do not like Gundry and what he has to say. Fruits/veg are giving us trouble because of the chemicals that suppliers are putting onto the food during the growing process or afterward. Not the food item itself.

Butter, butter, butter, and lard, and real unpasteurized buttermilk, makes real bisquits, that's how Granny made them so good!
@caturpin5684 Says:
What about coconut oil?
@JM-ft5ip Says:
These bad foods are used for one reason: profit. When we discover they are bad, corporations lobby the government and everything is hidden! What's worse, we're told animal fats are bad and these oils are better! Blatant lies!
@JM-ft5ip Says:
Once again, USE ANIMALS!
@ck8191 Says:
Processed food in general is the problem. That said, feeding 7 and keeping them full while very busy is difficult on a super tight budget without using something processed

Thank you so much Roman for being the harbinger of dangers, torch bearer of truth and knowledge, and a great soul on the planet!! I stick to avocado oil for cooking and olive oil for bread dipping and salads, butter for baking my sourdough bread!
