How does the system (teacher, administrator, etc.) respond to a student that demonstrates thinking skills?
They squash it, students have to buy into what the teacher is presenting or they start having discipline problems.
Could sit here all day & go over stories about what/how students get treated.

I work in the education system in TX, when applying for jobs in certain areas you see how they're trying to adopt into
this agenda. I wish they would get away from the state testing, it's a waste of time & energy, setting the students

Here in Massachusetts im forced to have detailed discussions with my fourth grade son about gender and race because the school system is pretty aggressively introducing him to their radical ideas in these areas. If I don’t jump in then he’s going to follow their lead. I only know because I’ve been investigating and asking questions. My plan was not to deal with this with such a young child but again we have no choice folks unless we can leave. The school system doesn’t care about my opinion here and have effectively told me that in no uncertain terms.

I home schooled my kids for 5 years. Our government education system kills a child's love of learning about the world. Quisha is so right. Forcing anyone to study what doesn't interest them won't work. Want them to want to learn math? Find out what they want to build or keep track of and make a project that shows them how math will help them to their goal. Teach them how to find the information they want rather than force them to memorize things they may never use.

Knowledge guest, how sad how our education system has failed I went to a tough school lots of fights and stuff but the teacher still did a good job but that was 50 years ago. I say it all the time Obama and his puppets are responsible for so much of this.remember him "were going to transform America " or on of his puppets " the children belong to the community".
