Yup, that happened because God forgive of you do the right thing when your at work. Wtf is wrong with businesses today, going woke or doing crap like this. Makes me sick we can't have some stable stability in America due to people spouting idiocracy, and uneducated thoughts. I don't shop at coffee shops often because I can buy a hole canister of coffee by the time I can buy 1 cup of coffee.
@americanme3239 Says:
Not worth working for woke public INTERACTION jobs. AND I HAVE A BAD HABIT OF LASHING OUT IF IM CORNERED/OR EVEN THREATENED. MAGA PATRIOTS DON'T OPEN YOUR DOOR TO ANY ILLEGALS OR COPS.

Starbucks policy: Do not defend yourself!! 😑
@kirkbradford5765 Says:
BOYCOTT STARBUCKS! WHAT A FUKIN RIPOFF FOR THEIR COFFEE PRICES!!
@catlady5359 Says:
I notice that the ex-barista has a lawyer and is preparing to sue Starbucks. The fact that the manager refused to comply and put him in greater danger by not following the company policy should play in his favour, especially if the manager didn’t get fired. Good luck and well done!
@raymondroysr. Says:
boycott the store yes sue the store
@SR-eh5xu Says:
Makes sense when you think of how hard they're (schools, workplaces, local government) trying to make people, particularly men, into cowards that won't stand up for themselves or anyone else.
@donmarable1 Says:
they should not be fire!!
@josephtorres9504 Says:
I would sue...and make very public
@lawrencearnemann3923 Says:
I'll add to my list of reasons not to ever step foot in a Starbucks

ABL is the best news channel on YouTube
@BrianLannoye Says:
Ok, he could not make a fake sale to open the register? Still, I think he has a right to defend himself and should have the right to defend property.
@beachs7210 Says:
The manager should have been fired for NOT helping the situation! If it was a real gun, and the barista couldn’t get the register open they could have been killed. The manager is responsible for their employees and should have gotten up to help with the register. I hope the two fired employees sue Starbucks for wrongful dismissal!
@peggyford3801 Says:
As a person that has been the victim of an armed robbery, when they point that gun at you, it makes you very nervous and the things that you normally do almost instinctively become difficult. At least that’s how I felt. I pushed the buttons to open the register but I was so scared/nervous that I hit the wrong buttons. I finally got it open and they took the cash out themselves. I was in shock. Luckily they didn’t take all the change and there was a dime so I could call the police (yes, on the pay phone) I realized I was in shock when the dispatch operator kept saying “calm down”…I thought I was calm. It’s a terrible feeling.
@double-you5130 Says:
corporations need to stick to the constitution else they are destroying society. a bunch of fools in a board room meeting coming up with idiocracy.
@angieponders3844 Says:
Prepare coffee at the house.
@TheGameShocker Says:
Please sue
@Lorna-JWB Says:
I hope he sues Starbucks for having a policy that puts his life in jeopardy and forcing him to choose between his safety or his job. He couldn’t comply and give them the money, so Starbucks makes his life/safety dependent on the actions of another employee—who failed to act.
@WVWomanMarine Says:
ABL - You need to have your own comedy show. Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dumb 😂
@oneenigma4u Says:
6:28 Alright I had to stop it right here. Many 9 mm handguns have composite lowers. The upper, such as the barrel and slide and breach block and such are metal. But the bottom part of the firearm, the grip and trigger guard are usually a composite.
@SuperTuffgirl Says:
Starbucks who uses slave labor in their coffee production and charge $7 for coffee that tastes like floor sweep and dirty water.
@emmanuelbois4459 Says:
Starbucks would rather have two dead employees rather than pass as racists.
@jsnavely76 Says:
He said he "thought it was the right thing to do". I hope that everybody who knows him is constantly reassuring him that it was the right thing to do. Starbucks is in the wrong for punishing people for standing up against crime.
@youtubetube9723 Says:
They are threatening the lives and livelihoods of the employees, when the employees defend themselves that is called self defense. Why is this country hell bent on punishing people for defending themselves? Criminals should have zero rights. I believe we should be able to fight back against people who give us no choice but to defend ourselves. FJB
@stluciestrength Says:
I’ve never liked Starbucks coffee and this incident only reinforces it. Good luck to these 2 guys, especially the future paramedic!
@barbaragilday2231 Says:
Starbucks is a fucken joke and there coffee sucks
@Notguilty1 Says:
All our employees are trained in WOKE ideology. The perpetrator in this case was black. Stopping him from his activities is racism and a violation of our WOKE policy.
@KellyWalsh-rf1gu Says:
These corporations are destroying our society….
@danav3387 Says:
Starbucks policy is either you are employed or you are dead. It is up to the criminal to decide you are not allowed to interfere with their plans for you. Sounds like they may have a case against Starbucks for not handling a dangerous issue. The best thing this community can do is not go in that store or be like so many others never go in any Starbucks.
@scottsnodgrass4361 Says:
Let’s turn this story around. I know this area. It’s rough. Maybe Starbucks failed. Maybe under the circumstances, Starbucks had a responsibility to provide a security guard at this location. Seems to me they should be held accountable for failing to provide a safe work environment!
@el_deplorablede_tejas1394 Says:
Starbucks is a piece of Sh💩T. Another reason why I don't buy they're products.
@gengarcarport1799 Says:
Sounds to me like starbucks needs to make sure the robbers have access to ALL the money
@karennaturallyartby Says:
Since when are men vilified for being real men - Starbucks is in the wrong here
@snowmcsnow4732 Says:
Another reason to NOT support Starbucks. Guy is a hero and deserves much better.
@fatboyrowing Says:
I’m hoping that Starbucks pays for the employees’ full education and then some with the lawsuit
@Emslander Says:
If NO resistance is permitted by policy, then robbery is encouraged. The company ought to make non engagement a recommendation. Employees ought to be free to act if they think it’s possible.
@brianwilson3133 Says:
If i ran a business id be rewarding my employees if they ever had to defend themselves.
@smb7452 Says:
You make excellent points, ABL! I already don't go to Starbucks, and they continue to suck as you have just shown. Keep up the great work!

Dude needs a lawyer and file a law suit. against starbucks. tuition paid.
@jadem9223 Says:
He should sue Starbucks for having a hostile work environment, hazardous work conditions and wrongful termination. He has a good case. He was assaulted, defended himself and everyone else on the premises, and was consequently fired. Boycott Starbucks. It's Marxist.
