So in manufacturing, there are often vendors or worker suppliers that hire people in bulk for a site. The company has no clue about the employee except name and according to the vendor, they have gone through the proper vetting and employment process. They say we need 60 people for this shift, and the vendor supplies them. In this case, it would be the vendors fault for hiring someone who used a false ID. However the plant is in fault for having unsafe conditions.

Also, it's easy to use Employment Agencies because you aren't required to meet all legal requirements, that's the responsibility of the Employment Agency. We in HR know that these agencies hire ppl who aren't eligible to work. But it's cheaper than hiring directly. No benefits paid to agency employees. 🤐🤐🤐
