Americans are so gullible, they’ll fall for a load of horsesh** and gobble it right up. No cup is going to be a lot better than other cups. They’ve been making these things forever. It’s pathological.
@pshaw8406 Says:
Kids have always been bullied for knock-offs and will continue to be bullied for knock-offs. But he sounds like an awesome brother.

I’ve never heard of this bottle!
@troyclayton Says:
I'm all for it. I'm so happy when the sheeple are easy to identify. Tumblers are for idiots, they leak when dropped. I do construction for a living, everything I bring to work gets dropped over and over. The only Stanleys I've seen on site are thermoses, like mine. Good thermos, BTW.
@spocksvulcanbrain Says:
First of all, let's be clear. All this talk about hydration and skin and health is BULL SHIT! There is no evidence that points to the need for hydrating so often. Your body will tell you when you need to drink - it's called THURST!!!!!! It's an evolutionary adaptation. It's like eating. You wouldn't carry a hamburger and fries around with you all day every day so you can keep your stomach full so you don't get hungry and run out of energy. It's just marketing crap by water sellers. STOP BELIEVING CRAP science and health information from advertisers and influencers. People have survived for many many hours on trips and work without having a water bottle in hand all the time. My god, we didn't even have water bottles when I grew up and all those people are healthy grandparents today. OMG! The world is crazy. So many sheep and so few skeptics. Even John with his "my skin" comment has fallen for the lies.
@TheCybertiger9 Says:
I bought my daughter a MP3 player (Sony) but because it wasn't an IPod, kids made fun of her. So I didn't want her to feel bad, and to protect her from her idiot peers, I bought her an IPod
@zoeye7095 Says:
I know not caring doesn't always work for bullying, but I have a summer birthday and as a kid my classmates tried to bully me for not being able to bring cup cakes to school to celebrate my birthday like they did. I just responded with how much I didn't care that they didn't get cup cakes because my parents would take me and a friend to a theme park for the day. We weren't super rich so I didn't get any trinkets from the theme park and we'd take a picnic and eat lunch in the parking lot before going back in, but we got to ride the rides and have fun together. I think it only worked because I had that card to play and the friend we'd take every birthday went to the same school and backed me up but my parents certainly wouldn't have bought me this cup either. We usually had to be pretty frugal with money and a $45 cup would not have been in the budget. I would have had to just deal.

Remember the kid lunchbox with the bottles in it😂❤

I wore Payless shoes too but i wasn't affected by bullying 🤷 I rocked my LA Gear🩷 I remember one kid turned up her 🐽 nose looking at my feet and asked me why i was wearing them... I looked at my feet and was like, what's wrong with them? Somebody said they were buddies 😂😂😂but i distinctly remember the boys boosting me up like, no they're not they're cute you can wear what you want. 🤷 I was kinda arrogant If you "tried" to pick on me its because you were a lower life form... To this day, cant quite remember which girl said that....🤔 Nor which boyz defended me... I just know i liked my LA Gear...i think they had pink unicorns 🦄 🤗

Cain't be me bro, Im Bubba Cup 4 Life. Sesame Street told all us Gen X kids its GREAT to be different. People are so malleable in the brains

You know as an African-American , I really believe we have more important issue’s than water bottle fads😢 THIS IS REALLY SAD! To see my younger generation fall victim to such trivial shit!
@mycatsaliberal3848 Says:
Wait is Stanley a more sought after brand than yeti or hydroflask
@YamiAssass1n Says:
Better get your CRED!! People are crazy
@MrGamefreak30 Says:
So Target stocks these at $45 a pop, they make $15-20 a cup Stanley makes $25-30 and both companies get richer. Corporate greed at it's finest and the dumbasses are falling for it. I have 2 plastic rubber maid bottles which cost $5 bucks and a metal one I bought at Dollarama for $4. so that's 3 for $9. Makes a hell of a lot more sense to me
@gabigirl416 Says:
I have my Hydro Flask and love it. I’ve bought off brands that still keeps my water cold. This is ridiculous.
@beckyboyt8535 Says:
Most of us have a.mental list of people whose opinions matter to us. The shorter you can keep that list, the happier you will be. I taught my kids that lesson, and they took it to heart. It simplifies things.
@kathleentewksbury3634 Says:
What is special about this water bottle? 🧐
@jenniferfogler7708 Says:
I am so sick of hearing about this. It is no different than every other fad we have had, whether certain sneakers, designer jeans, certain phone, etc. Fads come and go and kids are people and get swept up in the fads.
@wendymaclean6364 Says:
Not everyone, I don't give a ....
@Erelio Says:
I’m glad my kids don’t care what other people say or think . Pat myself on the back .
@carole2403xqv1 Says:
These are the same folks who whine and moan about not having enough money to pay for groceries, rent, mortgages, health insurance , medical bills, emergencies, gas etc. Yet they have no problem buying a water bottle that will sit is a closet gathering dust until the next mindle fad " mut have"purchase come along. That and their stupid Lululemon leggings that they can't live without.
@carole2403xqv1 Says:
Oh my God -if you are forced to drink tap water-for shame. Oh the horror of not being hydrated!! GOD FORBID!!

I didn't give a rat's @$$ What they said or thought of me The same as Now as it was then What other people think just doesn't concern me In the lest bit¡
@apextroll Says:

@irisschneider4058 Says:
This is completely beyond my comprehension: why not rinse out a used plastic water bottle, fill it up and reuse it???
@SurlyInsomniac Says:
This is nothing new; Charles Mackay wrote about fads likes this 183 years ago in his classic book "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds".
@justagirlsd3000 Says:
I think my water bottle is the best one. Owala is large, wide mouth for ice, insulated, plus a built in straw design that doesn’t squirt you in the face when under pressure. I found mine at GTM a discount resale store.
@modquad18 Says:
Humans behave this way throughout their lives. Think about it.
@nmikloiche Says:
We can all remember the intense feelings of wanting to fit in at school. So, I have no doubt that parents will buy their child this cup. Regardless, the most important thing you can do is talk with kids and make sure they know a $50 cup is not what makes them or any of their classmates valuable. You’d be amazed how many kids will be thoughtful about it, and even come to the point of view that it’s a silly thing to spend $50 on.
@kiraward1125 Says:
To be honest I sent my kids to school with water with a bit of juice. Never straight water, though that was to encourage them to actually drink the water.
@juventinocasillas3023 Says:
Notice that its all girls.
@EndPoliticalCorruption Says:
My kids went to school nearly twenty years ago. Yes, John, they were supposed to have water bottles. And snacks. Those mother f*cking snacks. And god help you if you didn't send them to school with these things. You'd get notes from the teacher and calls from the principal's office. And if the water bottle was left in the classroom and fell to the floor as students were exiting -- either accidentally, or purposely toppled by some little shit -- the janitor would just sweep it up with the rest of the trash and throw it out. That, plus kids' inability to keep track of too much stuff, those frikkin bottles got lost all the time.
@joejoegarcia6708 Says:
Who cares about a stupid cup
@MissLucyMoran Says:
Seriously? Someone pays 45 dollars for a water bottle?? No wonder America is going under....
@redchevy14 Says:
Cred
@coltino99 Says:
I see two Stanley cups among coworkers now. I just wanna ask them, so you’ll just basically do anything the internet tells you to do right? I mean, keeping drinks cold for hours, is that really new technology? Are people only finding out about the insulation properties of go cups now?
@joboel Says:
So it's like the iPhone and the green bubbles.
@justinciallella4724 Says:
Sad
@chrisgrill6302 Says:
"I'm going to return it and get my money back..." I cannot believe the entitlement of American consumers. Perfectly good merchandise (he said it!), taken out of its packaging, used and... returned? How TF is retail commerce supposed to function?
