Silly. What's "WILD" about an 80+ year old childless man having 3+ million in the 2020's ?. This video is just about the envy of the presenter. At least the 1 good point that Cenk made was that it was because he was frugal, he was able to save. But there's nothing wild about a frugal man over 70 having a million dollars to his name in this time and moreso in the future as the dollar continues to lose value. Everyone's a millionaire in Zimbabwe.

Anna does not understand the passing of time.
@indigosue3070 Says:
Anna, Cenk, who the hell are you now?
@tammypelletier3195 Says:
Hey stop it about the clock b***** New England town clocks are antique and irreplaceable. My town puts a tremendous amount of value in our clock and spends money on updating and repairing it every time we can. It is over 200 years old, historic and invaluable. Shame on you for judging other people's values
@MissLucyMoran Says:
I would be almost as frugal as this guy if I had money. I don't like to spend more money than what I'm buying is worth. I hate it when people buy luxury or overpriced items, it's just to buy status. Ugh....😵‍💫 People need to buy more second hand goods and recycle anyway. Be careful with your money and live in a place where your money goes a long way. 😅

Keep us updated PLEASE. This is INSPIRING!
@ubermo1182 Says:
NOOOO!! Cenk cracked me up here!
@Songbirdpe1970 Says:
Anna, why always so salty and judgmental? I used to agree with you about most things and now it seems that you spend all of your time tearing EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE down. Take a breath and get a grip. Don't criticize the ideas of others unless you have a better one.
@beng4647 Says:
Everyone has family. His family was just garbage.
@thatsright5949 Says:
How is he a Hero...you ppl dont even know how he got the funds...But as long as he is white makes him a Hero...Yeah and Jesus is "white" 😂😂😂😂
@thatsright5949 Says:
Is that our business 👀😅 Who cares if they spend money left for them...Damn Ana You are getting creepy as hell
@ericp1139 Says:
The common thread with all these secret millionaires is that they don’t have kids.
@brianward7550 Says:
"should have done something fun with the money" Hello! Didn't you say he drove around town on a lawn tractor waving to people?
@kumarj4693 Says:
A true hero. No matter what the community does with the money, even squander it away, he'd be happy that they felt happiness even for a minute, because of what he did.
@JeffreyRosenlund Says:
The way i understand it, its about $900 for each resident to spend the way they choose. If a child then a savings account that is accessed at 18. Insted city council will steal it.
@thenellierose Says:
I don't think Ana fully appreciates how important those big clocks are in small towns... They're so much a part of the character and charm. It makes sense to me they'd want to put some money toward that.
@richardalvarado-ik9br Says:
Wonder what #45 and Fawx news would think of him? "The greed is good" mob.
@mayh3094 Says:
Good guy🎉
@lookafternumber1 Says:
How about setting up charity in his name and spending on Homeless and getting people out of drugs and into jobs. Save lives n save families that way. Other rich people can contribute and add to it aswell❤❤❤
@tracybrown6821 Says:
I think 2 scholarships a year one for a girl and boy, under his name like 25,000$ each! The rest put in a interest earning trust, would gauntee many more years of it helping deserving young people get a good education 🎉
@auroraseyets8516 Says:
I agree with Anna. It would be nice if the money were used to improve people’s lives.
@elftax Says:
It’s about personal happiness, the guy lived the life he wanted… bet he slept better every night than 99% other $millionaires
@joannefitzpatrick992 Says:
My grandfather always said the three s's. Save a little, spend a little, share a little
@aliveandhearty7321 Says:
I would be doubly dumfounded if i was his best friend and he gave it all to the town and made me EXECUTOR 😂😂😂😂 A clock??
@kgs2280 Says:
And they listed NOTHING to improve education, which was the first thing HE listed for expenditures. How about setting up scholarships for the top kids who want to go to college but their families can’t afford it. Sure, a new clock might be nice, but kids’ education is much more important, IMHO.
@adrianfoca865 Says:
Yeah-i wont be that guy.
@DavianSinner Says:
There is a book my old boss loaned me, "The Millionaire Next Door", that detailed situations like this guy. Many millionaires live frugally. One in the book was still clipping coupons. Another drove an old beater vehicle.
@jdm-uk-yank Says:
I pretty sure I know a guy like this in Old Saybrook,CT. There was a shop there and the owner was NEVER not in, 24/7. Late at night he'd be in a recliner just inside the door.
@bearbryant3495 Says:
Yeah, kiss that cash goodbye.
@haven42 Says:
I am from New Hampshire. And have lived most of my adult life there. Here’s a little anecdote for you. My grandfather was a carpenter. Built houses. When he died, family found jars and jars of nails, used carpentry nails, sorted by size in his basement workshop. He saved all of those nails from tear downs or remodels. He’d pull them, straighten them with a hammer and use those nails another day. That’s old New Hampshire for ya
@gwaaiedenshaw8310 Says:
Make a trust. Invest it and spend the interest. Have a board and the board can field proposals every year on into the future.
@Domzdream Says:
This man was more Jesus-like than any right winger Christian could ever hope to be.
@Knucklehead4400 Says:
Of course they will squander it Anna, most people would.
@brando7266 Says:
What's the point of having money , if u cant enjoy it?
@jillshaw4392 Says:
For some culture they should have made a nice appropriate statue of a nice old man on his lawnmower. Maybe he could be reading a newspaper or waving to passersby. Nothing like that King statue in Chicago. Then they could stash away the rest of the money; cause you know some weird disaster is on its way.
@macforme Says:
I wonder if the streets could be needing repairs, or better WiFi for the community, how about a snowplow, increase the wages of the police and teachers, hire more teachers, expand the library,.... or they could just have weekly free pizza night and beer till the money runs out. Gee I wonder of the population is going to double as people hear about this windfall.
@weee1049 Says:
Politicians say we must be frugal and set it aside for a rainy day…..10 years later the rainy day comes they open it up for use only to find the politicians stole it all 10 years ago.

Old America is code for White Anglo Saxon (descendant of English settlers i.e. the founding stock of the country) America.
@Cleisthenes607 Says:
A decent man but his money will be wasted by them.
@rebeccageiger9110 Says:
They should create some scholarships in his name, create a park, lits of things would be good
@englishsteve1465 Says:
Monorail ! monorail ! monorail ! 😄 But seriously, this guy seems like a real top banana.
@keegala Says:
This is the most un-American thing I can think of. Where is the insatiable greed? The consumption and purchase of (tasteless) garbage? (While making sure your actions enrich only you while diminishing others [hopefully the already disenfranchised]). Come on, be a winner! Be #1! Be American!
@Orko99900 Says:
100% chance the money gets squandered in less than a year.
@rowleyma Says:
Don't underestimate Swamp Yankee frugality!
@steveng8251 Says:
Kind of reminds me of the two elders that I was fortunate enough to have known and be friends with. Frugal, utilitarian and generous. Glad you guys covered him, I saw this on tiktok or something and thought it would be nice to get more attention as we need more uplifting news.
@Jonathan-ic9ef Says:
Guys like this are more common than you think, they typically just leave their money behind to a deserving relative.
@adriennebrailsford6291 Says:
That would piss me off, the categories he outlined are define able existing facilities in the city, do they not have budgets? If he asked for it to be utilized, why say you’d spend it frugally, like him, rather insulting? I’d think his legacy encompassed generosity #1 , also a type of stoicism, piety, and faith. To simply select frugality is weak and it was his dutiful heed to his father’s advice that purposes his frugality or a life without want. His ability to carry on without falling victim greed, envy, gluttony, lust etc… is the amazing attribute. Not such focus on his lack of crap
@petertaylor4954 Says:
The most NH story evah 😂 Thrifty AF (and naybe curmudgeonly?) but generous.
