"Netanyahu rejects Hamas conditions for Israeli hostage deal"
JERUSALEM, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday rejected conditions presented by Hamas to end the war and release hostages that would include Israel's complete withdrawal and leaving Hamas in power in Gaza.

I've always admire Bernie but since he joined the Biden Administration he has been silent on this issue and has voted on bills that declares USA absolute alignment and loyalty to Isreal. A country shouldn't have blind allegiance to any other nation. USA no longer qualifies as a mediator because they are impartial. . Bernie has changed. I don’t think Bernie and Biden served together all that long in the Senate. Bernie was elected to Senate in 2006 and Joe Biden was VP in 2008. Bernie served just as long with Hillary in the Senate. I think Bernie perhaps doesn’t value Palestinian lives as much as we thought he did. There’s no other possible explanation for his refusal to call for a ceasefire. I don’t know how as a progressive, the existence of Israel as an ongoing settler colonial ethnostate could be something that you look upon with fondness.
