Johnny Harris calling himself a "journalist" and standing for "journalistic integrity" is the biggest joke of the decade on YT 😂🤣

I think it's not so much about the large news organisation's profit motive, so much as their embeddedness in wider systems of influence and power that do not serve the interests of the 'common' good. There is a threshold size of organisation or personal wealth, over which money just starts making money (providing of course it's managed well) and the values/personal motives of the founders gets corrupted in the form of organisation politics, wider lobbying and influence trading, including money as a proxy sort of influence. In a sense, independence of journalism is related to loyalties, and whether they get corrupted. My question to you would be how will you avoid size - of company, team, audience - corrupting what you do? My suspicion - though I'm not sure - is that organisations above a certain size of team (maybe the dunbar number applies?) will inevitably at some point run into problems of scaling their 'integrity' that comprises values, intentions, aligned interests etc of the team and audience. Most organisations chase growth, often after accepting growth funding from investors, which often means losing sight of the original mission. Some rare companies manage it, such as Patagonia. I look forward to seeing where your venture goes next.

Oh my another preveyer of the left journalist with nearly no College science, what could go wrong?, I would suggest a couple of far right science members in your staff.

Hello Johnny, I've heard about the remarkable work you've been engaged in, and I must say, I'm truly impressed by the world-class quality of your endeavors. Recently, a friend of mine also mentioned your new project, "Search Party," and I couldn't be more excited for you. I want to extend my best wishes and let you know that I'm fully committed to supporting your work by sharing it with those within my network. Being a student of International Relations myself, I firmly believe that your content is essential for anyone seeking an authentic perspective on global issues. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you believe I can participate in any way to your project. Warm regards,

I have been watching you for a year or less. Like most people it was the McDonald's video that I found first from a Google search. For me (and maybe most people hence the 4.3m subs) it's not just the content but it's the DELIVERY. It's what the person offers that attracts a viewer. For me, it's the details, the logic, the straight forwardness. It's the no flashy lights, no loud/overbearing music. There's no yelling , or whispering. For me it's just perfectly crafted journalism. This doesn't appeal to all people but it appeals to me and I for one, am happy I found your channel and I reccommend it and often specific videos to many people. I once again recommended the McDonald's video to someone yesterday. I will definitely be checking out your other channel. (ps-- I LOVE MAPS TOO!!)

I believe in the work you are doing. I wonder why you haven't done a video on how business and the upper 10% of the U.S. population hijacked the American economy and government? Robert Reich did a video on the Powell Memo which helped kick off the process in the early 70's. I think you folks could do a better presentation of it.
@Dili832 Says:

@digbyskellington Says:
Are you funding this new channel out of Youtube revenue alone, or do you have other corporate/think-tank partners? I think it would be interesting to know about the economics behind modern video journalism.
@Zederator Says:
You have reached the pinnacle of journalism perfection Johnny. Keep going my friend.

When I took Political Geography upon returning to school recently, I learned how complex global political issues are in contrast to being dumbed down into intellectually dishonest internet memes. I'm curious about Vox Atlas now. Cheers, mate...☀
