I've never understood homophobia or transphobia, I've always thought it was stupid to hate people based upon how they perceive themselves, or who they love, or the adults they're attracted to. But it really disturbs me that this has been manipulated to the point where acceptance and tolerance has become meaningless, that we should support people based upon what they believe, always - without question. Have they ever considered the notion that a person with gender dysphoria doesn't actually need to transition, that affirming how they feel may not be the best medical option for that person. If transitioning does turn out to the best option, then that's perfectly fine, medicine is medicine, and people should be able to live their authentic selves. But do these people ever consider the idea of gender acclimatization? Where the support they receive for gender dysphoria is to help them accept and come to terms with their biological gender. The assumption that gender dysphoria automatically means a person is transgender is a rather disgusting ideological notion and may not be in the best interests of that particular person with the condition.

I saw Dame Edna as a kid. As a little feller, I was pretty sure she was a man. I had no idea what he looked like out of the character, but Dame Edna was absolutely a solid figure in my mind. She's amazing. Like Medea or Kermit the Frog, these characters are real. He did the voice of the Goblin King in The Hobbit, and it blew my mind.
