Michael's defense is that doesn't want to get rid of transgender people, but rather transgenderism. Steve doesn't believe this defense, and compares it to men's rights groups that don't have problems with women, but rather feminism. He mocks the idea, and insinuates that they do this because they're insecure in their masculinity.
...This either implies that Michael (a happily married man) is a closeted tranny who wants to get rid of transgenderism to overcompensate...or that men's rights groups want to get rid of women altogether...
I guess when you've got two biases, comparing them is not the best idea.

On what basis does he extend opinions of Fetterman to other mentally ill people? Fetterman's not only mentally ill but has also suffered brain damage, and both these things together are clearly affecting his mental capacity significantly.
Criticising his election to Senate (or Biden's to POTUS, or even the fawning over mentally-ill Greta Thunberg who also has a neurological disorder and both her conditions tend to cause her excess anxiety and obsessive behaviour) is based on the deficiencies caused by their conditions. This is not only a reasoned criticism but also cannot be extended to other people with mental illness, brain damage or neurological disorders who are _not_ showing those deficiencies. Like everyone, those with any medical condition should be treated as individuals, not as representatives of a class of people with those conditions.
