That’s just the tip of the iceberg, in the democratic Republic of Congo they are using child labor to extract the cobalt and these poor children are exposed the dangerous chemicals that can kill them. The Chinese do control about 50% of the cobalt mining.

I read a REAL Scientific report that claimed most EVs had to be driven around 100 - 130 000K minimum before it broke "even" in Emissions. You think I could find it? nope. But found many that have much lower values now. Instead of the 62 000, it's 20 to 30, half of the original number. It's Virtue Signalling at it's best. Automakers are STOPPING production simply because the subsidies are going away, and they are expensive to produce, which means less profit. Then there is the BATTERY problem FYI Do NOT buy a used EV. WHY? Because that "Deal" you think you got, won't be much of a "Deal" when you gotta pay 15-20-30 000 to replace that battery. BEWARE.

I gotta tell u the weight thing is a bit of stretch. What the most popular car sold in America today? A ford f150 or any other domestic truck and the roads aren’t falling apart.

And ct is making us pay for charging for them all on our already obscene electric bills 😖 new added charge
@carlmontney7916 Says:
The only people that want these EV vehicles are our our elected officials who are pushing for EVS because they have their personal money invested in green technology. meanwhile They are all being driven around in limousines powered by gasoline engines

EV’s are just very expensive golf carts………Fact 🤔

It might not be “greener” but at least someone is trying to get us out of being Arab slaves.

When they figure out how to dispose the batteries the cars are useless. And figure out how keep them from blowing up. And longer distance travel.

Furthermore, the cost to repair an EV after a collision causes a higher rate of vehicles being "Totaled" by the insurance companies. We had a Malibu hybrid in our fleet that was T-boned in a collision. Because the battery is located in the floor (The whole floor), it was damaged in the collision, requiring replacement. The cost was so high, it had to be "Totaled." A lot of vehicles have to be scrapped instead of repaired just because they're electric, or hybrids.

I still want them defiling the environment for lithium and other rare minerals though. We need batteries and all sorts of other stuff that are actually great improvements.

This guy really knows nothing at all. Oil is the single most subsidized product in the world. No wonder he's unemployed.

Electric automobiles will be little more than entertainment for the elite. Elon notwithstanding. Sorry
@laurenwood9084 Says:
Most of us are completely uninterested in electric vehicles. Biden/Harris have pissed away our tax dollars on nonsense like this!

This is pretty sad, Dennis
@danielnoriega6655 Says:
I mean yes, EVs will have their footprint for their manufacturing but it's the same for combustion vehicles. You need to tear down mountains to extract the aluminum and steel, similar to what you do extract lithium or silicon for all your electronic gadgets. We can agree in the need of combustions vehicles, but his arguments are weak.

I think people know this, but I think to drive an ev, which is fun, just like a hell cat, gonna spend gas to burn it on the weekends for ex. I think the driving culture is different tho from a normal ev to that of a v8 car, also the obsolescence of vehicles could change for the better because like the video said "requires an ev to drive alot", so yeah the results might be different from evs being driven by young adults with money who can afford an, compared to and older audience, but same goes for chemical energy vehicles when price is too high, what about all the vehicles on the lots of dealerships they were made and not sold they also took alot to make and they're just sitting for months and degrading out in the sun, for ex. And it's just the beginning of evs, yeah they been out here and there for hundreds of years but gas and diesel vehicles have been out in mass for a long time, but I think evs would help to strengthen our infrastructure. More infrastructure more paths for private companies and just normal people, to do more
