We need to ensure that newcomers respect, support and adhere to Judaeo-Christian values …….. the very values that the country of Canada was founded on.
We need to ensure that immigrants to Canada love Canada, respect Canada & Canadians and want to strengthen Canada, NOT weaken and destroy it.
We need immigrants that respect our rule of law and our way of doing things…..NOT those that want to implement their own religious laws (like Sharia Law), and turn Canada in to the very country they (or their parents/relatives) fled from.
If immigrants priories their country of origin more than the country they now live in, maybe they should return to their previous country and try to make a good life there. If they prefer the language, the culture, the religious majority, the religious laws, the politics etc go and live in the society that you prefer to live in. Stop trying to make Canada be something else.

As a Canadian born mixed race person. My black father and many friends have told me this. Back in the 50’s in Toronto. The Jewish community were some of the only ones hiring Afro Canadians back in the day. The old generation have passed that along. I stand with the Jewish Community for this reason and reflecting on the African American/ Canadian experience of discrimination. Need to get through this horrible time.
