In history it was the other way around. Palestine used to be the two states of Israel and Judea. It was the Jewish homeland for thousands of years UNTIL the Muslim Arabs swept in from further east and invaded, occupied and colonised not only Israel/Judea but of course the whole of the Middle East and North Africa.
