As an Israeli and a Zionist I don’t think she is crazy at all. She is anti war. She is anti indiscriminate killings. I don’t know why everyone jumps on here and calls her crazy. She is ignorant about the region, though. The problem is peace activists, and I would argue activists in general, don’t offer any concrete solutions. “Give the land to the people” gotta be the most Soviet thing I have ever heard. She is not crazy but she sure is impractical. With positions such as her, there’s no way to move forward and actually fix anything. But I would argue that razing Gaza to the ground doesn’t move Israel forward either. Good luck finding someone to manage the place now. It will fall on Israel, deplete resources, lead to more deaths of young soldiers. Perhaps she sounds irrational but if you follow the logic of what is happening right now, it doesn’t seem too rational either.
