I don't want to own an electric car, but as every day goes by, I seem to like Elon even more.

eletric vehicles in canada is such a gimmick. Im sorry but in a country where 4-6months of the year is snow and below 0 temps and the batteries and charging capabilities are hindered in cold why would we ever want to give ourselves such a headache? our carbon footprint aint that bad and theres more efficient ways to lower carbon levels.
@raywagner8016 Says:
Everyone knows that a good Liberal government will never let you choose for yourself.
@pkuudsk9927 Says:
You think Japer fire was bad? That was childs play compared to a parking lot full of ev's and 1 catches on fire. The chain reaction will burn down entire towns daily, once 1 lights up then anything with in 10 feet will catch on fire . You can't put out the fire you have to wait for it to burn out. I am collecting parts for my 1987 Jeep to drive for the next 40 years on moonshine if I have to.

In Quebec, Hydro always been asking us to reduce our energy use... Like they don't want us to use fireplace because it's pollution but they also want us to reduce electricity consomption. Like we are supposed to freeze? And now we should be using electricity for car? Doesn't make sense. In my area we have a lot of power outage, so I don't want to depend on electricity only.
@philjamieross107 Says:
the control will be further being able to turn your car off in a remote area, a whistle blow from some where in China said he could not pay his car payment they turned off his car
@tedandress2741 Says:
I would buy a horse before one of these EV scam vehicles.
@garyangelstad5212 Says:
Trudeau would never force us to buy electric vehicles, he will merely put the conditions on place so that we can make the right decision

Go ask Edmontonians how their Electric buses are working for them….

the only argument i will relent on is to save the gas for rocket fuels and use it to go to space .. other then that .. its just a wasted notion based off super computer models that spin off into infinity and eventually fail and miss important data .,. every bug every germ and predicts every things death
@towhomitmayconcern1531 Says:
Trudeaus “solutions” are to make me pay for someone else’s daycare and dental. None of what you’re talking about means anything to him.
@Greg-wq4dj Says:
I enjoy a laugh when someone with an EV who drove all the way across town to visit sheepishly asks if they can have a little juice to guarantee their return home. I always insist they must charge in the driveway where the firefighters will have better access to the battery meltdown. These people are deluded and unable to make a conscious connection with where the juice actually comes from.

I love my carbon fuel burning Volvo…never go electric.
@zachwalden317 Says:
Is anyone recycling ev batteries? That process is very toxic and as far as I know nobody recycles, but they'll sell new ones with the promise to recycle later

Did you all see the lithium ion explosions from pagers and walks talkies in Lebanon? Can you picture a lithium ion car cyber attack?
@arthuroates2002 Says:
Liberals go from idea straight imposing it and skip everything in between like how, cost ,feasibility, can it even be done, they only care about what they want or demand which goes to show exactly how incompetent they really are. they live in a fantasy we live in reality
@randymcalister8366 Says:
a) get rid of Trudeau he is member of WEF cult no longer understands he is a servant not a master b) elect a government for people of Canada who's ideology is inline with the majority - Singh's and Bloc's are not in Canada's best interest - 51% vote Poilievre get Canada back on its feet

What you don’t understand is that there is enough power for them and their elites to drive. Everyone else will not be able to afford or allowed to own a vehicle. All of us plebs will be restricted to our 5km radius (15 minute city).

Electric vehicles HAHAHA cost to much ,cost to much to repair ,cost to much to charge,,NOT ENOUGH CHARGERS , pieces of junk in my opinion
@rockzalt Says:
The right to repair is big issue for IPhone's. Apple uses its' influence to make sure no one other than them will be able to repair phones whenever possible.
@mitchelbunny2940 Says:
This is not relevant anymore. There is no way the liberals survive now.

@Chriscoles111 Says:
They explode and they don’t actually save anything. Maybe if you live by a hydro dam or nuclear. I live in Alberta. We don’t have that option. We had to get power from Saskatchewan last year so our furnace could run when it’s 40 below because of naughtslee. Our coal is clean. Send it to china no carbon tax buddy. Wtf
@noahbody8366 Says:
The only reason the Liberals want to mandate electric vehicles is that there liberal friends have invested heavily in it so they can get rich.
@jamesathendune9026 Says:
Just imagine being in Saskatchewan or Manitoba or in Northwest Ontario in the dead of winter and stranded on a highway in your electric vehicle. The cold robs your battery’s energy. Or waking up at home in the summer because your garage is on fire. Your lithium battery just burst into flame. In Florida the fire department recommends all electric cars to be parked in the street outside of the residence. A member of my family owned for a short while , a famous electric vehicle. The car failed after being parked for only 2 weeks at LAX , the LA airport - battery! The replacement cost was in the $1000s, disgusted , he just gave the car away .
@TD-di1hq Says:
that means that JT will be in his office? Or Piere P. will go with it?
@d.flaherty227 Says:
The electrification nonsense is a pure, unadulterated grift.
@danahenry8728 Says:
EVs are going to be the death of the whole planet every living thing will be gone. First you destroy eco systems to mine the materials for the batteries. Then there is production of the vehicles then there is the toxic gases released into the atmosphere that build up and never get absorbed into the environment. At least with carbon capture the carbon stripped out of the exhaust all you are left with is oxygen
@mpearce820 Says:
Have you seen the mayhem in the automotive industry? Have you seen the prices and the cost to finance not to mention accelerating depreciation and increasing insurance cost. This is exactly what happens when incompetent government makes policy. The objective of this government is to get you out of personal transportation and keep you locked up at home ingesting liberal ideology. Canadians need to wake up and see what is happening.
@mpearce820 Says:
I oppose anything from this corrupt liberal government. It is time for election
@Jordanfromthecounty Says:
This is the WEF 2030 agenda at work. They want to eliminate personal vehicles, this way, everyone is forced into the 15 min cities, or is extremely limited in how far they can travel. I'm not giving up my truck, ever. The government doesn't get to decide what type of vehicle I buy.
@Ivanitcthanus Says:
Shove EV's up Justin and Steven's arse.
@loisgerber4721 Says:
The gov't is imposing electric vehicles for more nefarious reasons than a supposed "environmental crisis". If gov't concern for the environment was the true reason for bringing in EVs, wouldn't the necessary infastructure have already started being built, like yesterday, for all the hydro power needed to fuel a whole country that would be driving all these vehicles? Also, wouldn't there be active engement by the gov't to bring down the cost of EVs so average people could afford them? I think the (Trudeau) gov't WON'T PERMIT most people, or average folks to get EVs since they expect we'll all be living in 15 minute cities anyway by 2030 or so. Just my 2 cents.
@dawnelder9046 Says:
Who wants an unreliable, environmentally distructive fire hazard in their driveway? Were we live if one of these disasters caught fire it would cause a major forest fire.
@KevinSpencer-t4i Says:
It Fucking amazes me that everytime I comment something negative towards Trudeau it's taken off ASAP WTF YOUSUCK
@user-db8kt8ti4c Says:
Science fact... Manmade carbon dioxide emissions are not controlling the climate. Climate is so complicated that scientists don't actually know everything about climate. The UN chose carbon dioxide to be the villain so that they could create worldwide fear about the use of fossil fuels. The UN and WEF have leaders convinced that a green energy transition is necessary. BS! Canadians are smart and they are beginning to realize that what the Trudeau regime are doing is wrong and not possible.
