Oddly enough, I can eat 8 clams but not 1 shrimp. And I wasn’t always like this.
@WhiteEntertainmentTelevi-oc3dg Says:
If for chance a child does develop allergies, it is not worse than them in any way as them figuring out later on that they are allergic, because you can’t prevent every possible reaction unless you start frpm the source. And it’s better it happens to them as a baby than as a more developed individual who remembers pain at higher levels and also has already found passions in life, where as a baby can at least remember less and not have grown to attached. You never know what allergy can develop, but deliverately avoiding something because it feels weird just sounds like something allergies would like.
@LollipopCandyBoom Says:
No!!!! My husband was born with a severe allergy. His family exposed him to peanuts early. Now, he has made me promise to expose our kids to peanuts early on in life. While I can't have it in our house, they will have it at other people's houses if they don't have an allergy.
@drricemice2046 Says:
Lol my mom was feeding us peanut butter snice we could eat soft food
@ruthpetetson3927 Says:
I mama bird introduced foods to our children. Dog cuddled next to them from the time they came home. Worked for us.
@Alpha7721 Says:
Watching this while I eat bread with peanut butter spread.
@dreaddesert Says:
I think the idea was if kids 1 to 3 years of age had a peanut allergy and ate peanut products, then their allergic reaction would have a much higher chance of killing them because of their age.
@seanhartman6496 Says:
Remember people, experts are always right…..until they’re wrong, and then it’s “We were just following the science and we have better data now…..so we were never really wrong, you see.” 🤦♂️
You are not allowed to make a decision about you or your family’s health because your decision is not backed by their data……which is likely wrong anyways. 🤔
@mabeljoe4305 Says:
And, all the airlines removed all the snack peanuts to be distributed on their flights. . .in the nsme of peanut allergies

@Gofish163 Says:
This whole thing started back in the late 70s with the book by Dr. Spock that book really screwed this nation and the babies all up😮
@Gofish163 Says:
Same with milk same with gluten😢
Did you know less than 2% of our nation should be on a gluten-free diet? That's the gods honest truth right there😊
@genayates7335 Says:
My nephew had his first reaction at 1 yrs old . His face looked like it had hives . The second reaction at 2 yrs was way worse. Both eyes swelled shut , entire face swelled and was very red and itchy. The ER Dr told me it was a miracle his throat didn’t swell and that his next reaction it probably would . What this man is saying sounds right , but I think there’s more to it .
@BrianHamil Says:
Yup.
@myopinions1 Says:
This is just not true. I was around peanuts my whole life and had anaphylaxis reactions to it. What changed was the pesticides and that is why so many are allergic to the peanut pecticides.
@NoFloridaMan Says:
It's the peanut itself. Never had an allergy until my 50s. Now can't eat them at all.
@fishtown298 Says:
And I did not listen to them at all! My kids got everything that would not choke them
@texasskygirl7890 Says:
Thanks for the explanation. I always wondered why when I was a kid you never heard about peanut allergies and now we do.
@Chaille76 Says:
Let's remember this is the same CDC that followed Falchi.And the f d a that's o k vegan fake meat with 27 high Carcinogen ingredients
@user-wb4ty2ye7s Says:

@patriciacundiff5275 Says:
I thought peanut allergies are from the mold on the peanuts?
@markerwinargenti Says:
Turns out science is anti science in the land of the corrupt.
@pinnacleroofing9841 Says:
Prior to the mid 1800s peanuts were not common in the US and less known around the world. If lack of early familiarity is the issue these people should have had the highest rates of reaction. The reaction to peanuts has increased dramatically in the last 3 decades but it seems to me it must be due to something else, maybe the use of ultra prossed foods and seed oils over the same time period
@aisecoohiocraft7337 Says:
Ignore the government and the medical industry. They cannot be trusted
@Gannicus-USA Says:
I grew up eating Bamba! It’s an Israeli peanut butter snack. Think peanut butter cheese puffs in texture. Parents give these to kids right off the teet. 0 peanut allergy here
@Militantmind Says:
Peanuts aren't good for you anyway, toxins, anti-nutrients, the nutrients it does have isn't very bio-available, and the fats in peanuts lower metabolism.
@rfborden4854 Says:
We ignored it. 5 kids, no peanut allergy
@D3PU7Y Says:
I did the opposite I made sure I spread peanut butter all over my babies
@piezoelectric627 Says:
Sometimes going to the doctor is useless, i personally only go if I’m dying or is very very urgent. Other than that I consider a doctor a person who study something, but just that a PERSON
@OldFroaky Says:
"We have to tell them something" beuracracies exuse for screwing people over.
@lindabell5534 Says:
I get his point ,but peanut/nut allergy in the past just killed and many were clueless just like SID . I suspect it is allergy and then they said honey use was the cause. I believe it is different things babies are allergic too.
@kimmarquis2354 Says:
Born in 1967, as a child I was feed the same things my parents ate, just blended or cut into bite size. Did the same with my daughter and had the same results. Have no allergies to anything. Exposure in small doses is the key
@LisaCapron Says:
As an IBCLC and Certified Pediatric Nurse (and mother of 9), it’s best to introduce potential problems like wheat and peanuts and eggs while kiddo is still breastfeeding and has breastmilk coating their GI tract helping to prevent leaky gut. Cuts waaaay down on allergies.
@Butterball3588 Says:
I was in middle school, high school and was flabbergasted at the peanut allergy issue.
@diamonds2817 Says:
There are people who ignored the warning and let their kids eat peanuts, but have kids with nut allergies. I know of several and some of those kids have more than one allergy. My wonder is if it has to do with newer vaccines or stsrting vaccines at younger ages for kids. The moms who chose to hold off longer with their kids have healthier kids from my little polling I can see and hear from in my town.
@donquihote6023 Says:
I recall at 13 a DR. Telling me I had MONO. He never did a blood test. I had not so much shared a Glass, Soda, etc... with anyone, let alone Kissed anyone. I was better in a few days. Clearly not Mononucleosis. I swear they make shit up.
@gur1195 Says:
In Israel there is practically no peanut allergy because almost every kid eats a peanut based snack that is very popular
@paulbingville6485 Says:
Measles was a childhood disease that every child in my generation got, sometimes when their parents intentionally sent them to play with a friend who had it. By preventing kids from getting it, they turned it into something to be feared.
@phindude13 Says:
Scientists days something that isn't true, then accuse people who disagree of being anti science? They would never.....

@Disinterested1 Says:
lol I had this very argument
then questioned the "specialists" why it would be the case while the child was on life support?
as it made NO sense
I got no sensible answer
my partner continued eating peanuts
they don't have stupid man made allergies!
@PipeManPeep Says:
We have an "anti-science" epidemic. Too many people shutting down debate by claiming you're "anti-science". It's been evident through covid ("the science" got that wrong). It was evident with Peanuts ("the science" was wrong). It's evident with climate change - anyone who dares challenge the narrative is hit with "you're anti-science". It's ignorance of the highest order.
You summed it up perfectly : no, you DON'T have to tell parents SOMETHING. You have to tell them the truth. If you're not sure, say nothing. Who even asked???
@svietka202 Says:
I would be very interested in hearing how did the milk allergy came about?
@freespeech7747 Says:
Our government are killing us
@shortstuff5724 Says:
We played in the dirt. Played in the road in summer rains. We chased the bug spray truck in the 60s ! No allergies.
