I'm kinda sick of hearing about this from allot of people. At the end of the day those people signed their lives away on their own free will knowing full well the risks associated with the dive. I'm done with all the shit slinging and blame game's. Yes. The ship was flawed obviously but it did work aslong as it didn't descend too fast which is really why it imploded plus their controls failed them. Nobody will really never know what actually happened down there wether or not they knew they were about to die. Being forever known as someone who died as a Titanic sightseer should strike some people as embarrassing.This fetish some people have with the Titanic ship wreak is not heathy and really its disrespectful to those that died on the fateful night. Nobody will be paying for expeditions to go see the Titan weakage.

Apparently the US Navy did test carbon fiber hulled submarines, with an unmanned test vehicle and they did multiple tests to destruction.
Stockton Rush, never did any tests of how many dives his carbon fiber hulled submarine could handle, before it would need eg. a new hull.
The audio warning system he bet his own life and the lives of his customers? Never tested to see if it would actually give proper warning at the expected depths.

You can call the customers naive or worse, but they didn't deserve this.
