@tamraburrows2505 Says:
Moral of story if you are of child baring age or have female children move out of states that ban abortion. I have 3 daughters i would move them if need be
@ti.mythril Says:
Sounds like a classic example of malpractice.. failure to meet the normal "standard of care" required of medical "professionals" ... the ER absolutely new there was no possibility of a successful pregnancy.
@tamraburrows2505 Says:
They need to sue the state all they need to see is the add up of lawsuit money to repeal stupid laws😊
@dominichamilton7839 Says:

@petraalexander9269 Says:
The United States is telling women that they are nothing more than an expendable incubator at the point they become pregnant. Real incentive to have babies, isn’t it?
@uncleanunicorn4571 Says:
Cue some pro life ghoul explaining how these women losing their future fertility is somehow worth it.
@berelinde Says:
Hey, "conservatives," dead women don't vote. These radical, needlessly cruel measures will kill your constituents too.

@OnyemaechiAmuro Says:
Ectopic pregnancies are extremely painful and dangerous. Losing the Fallopian tubes is certainly heartbreaking. *However... why is she getting pregnant at the age of 35?* That's a high risk, geriatric pregnancy, waiting to happen. 🙄
@mechanized11b Says:
They take responsibility and raise a child?
@melmitch9768 Says:
0:33 pregnant WOMEN...
@leonardodtc4847 Says:
Pregnant people* Trans men can also be pregnant. Bigot.
@paintingoftheweek Says:
Idk the specifics of these cases but my medical 2 cents: methotrexate is typically not used if there is fetal cardiac activity because it has a high failure rate. The preferred choice is surgery, a salpingostomy or salpingectomy, which these women ultimately had anyway.
@ldy2hzlft1111 Says:
Its only 100 woman. Big deal. They dont care.
@norcalben2001 Says:
First of all, the responsibility lies with voters who put politicians, who appointed judges, into office. It's strange that such a concern for human life doesn't extend to providing pre/post natal care to ensure healthy mothers and babies or helping families who can't feed their children. Most of all, the same people who are most offended by "abortion" totally ignore the rampant child sex abuse in their own churches.
@Geissele_match Says:
I always found it strange to call intentionally ending a human life healthcare.
@philadelphiyahhsmyrna0 Says:
Most all abortions from 15 to 21 weeks are banned in western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand with a few exceptions. It's no different than what happens in these countries that are typically seen as more progressive than the United States.

2:33 and this is the butt
@metallicat72 Says:
A woman and her doctor should be making these calls, not politicians.
@roguenoir Says:
Moral of the story: don't move to Texas. Stay in California.
@IvánNotIvan Says:
Horrific
@spaceballs44 Says:
At this point if I was a woman of baby bearing age I would get my tubes tied or to have myself sterilized if I were that young.
@philliphessel6788 Says:
An ectopic pregnancy can’t in the first place _become_ a fetus (or even an embryo, I think) unless relocated to a proper womb (which might be technological rather than natural). So, using the term in this context is misleading.

😝 Trump baby! Bring on project 25
@user-wi3yx3gy2o Says:
Even if they oppose truly elective abortion, or oppose truly elective surgical abortion after 6, 8, 10, or 12 weeks, they still need to leave it to doctors to decide how to prioritize the woman’s safety, which means allowing medically indicated abortion up to 20 weeks, and then to prioritize live births after 20 weeks. No doctor should be liable criminally of civilly for performing abortion, so long as he had certified that there was a medical need to protect the woman’s safety in terms of an even moderately extraordinary risk. And no woman should be held liable for consenting to an abortion on her doctor’s advice that there is an even moderately extraordinary risk. Imagine the mistrust that conservative legislators must have for doctors that they think they can make a vague one time rule which a random judge can adjudicate the matter after the fact.

@kellycook3914 Says:
Where's the DOJ? Shouldn't they help protect women against these unjust and cruel laws?!!
@ashleybishop7248 Says:
It's not just Abbott. "As The Post recently reported, doctors in multiple states say the standard of care for miscarriages, as well as ectopic pregnancies and other common complications, are being scrutinized, delayed, or even denied. In Texas — *where Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) is suing the Biden administration over federal rules requiring abortions to be provided in medical emergencies to save the life of the mother.* Imagine fighting against a federal mandate that protects the lives of women. And THIS is because they want the ultimate say, not the doctor and not the woman. They demand medical records, sonograms, medical history, type of procedure, etc. THEY make the final determination on whether or not an abortion violates the state abortion laws. And THIS is why doctors are reluctant to act immediately. Don't let anyone tell you this isn't the fault of republicans.
@NeroCloud1 Says:

It's an *ectopic* pregnancy. It's not going to come to term - there should be *no* debate here.
@deniseschulte4724 Says:
Some of these right wing politicians know very little about biology but everything about cruelty. Shame on them.
@TotalWater-d2o Says:
*"She was initially denied an abortion in Texas inspite of a law making an exception for such emergencies"* - Right, so this and the other instances only occurred due to confusion resulting from the laws being changed and doesnt actually represent a legitimate problem anymore, now that the new laws are firmly in-place.
@Frizzlefrail Says:
Well we need to take care of illegals first sorry you don’t matter.
@NNicholeHE Says:
It is nobody business but the woman, partner and DR should be making these decisions
@HexerPsy Says:
Why are you upset? America has a history of policy that is heartless to its people. Now its abortion rights for women, causing women to die. Meanwhile gun availability goes above public safety, endangering students at school. Medical finance laws result in people going through medical bankruptcy and losing their homes. Racist home ownership laws prevented black people from buying homes in certain neighbourhoods. Public financing has made some drinking water dangerious to consume (remember Flint?). Your government doesnt really care about its people, because you keep electing people who don't care. You want to shrink government and not pay any taxes. How is that working out for you?
@roccaflocca4312 Says:
Being anti-abortion is being pro-death. Period. Women are dying, actually birthed babies are dying, and human brain cells are dying from the BS arguments Republicans make against abortion. Claiming they want post-birth abortions? What I'm pretty sure Republicans are trying to twist here are when babies are born that CAN'T SURVIVE outside the womb, ie, babies that are in the process of dying upon being born, they're trying to call those babies essentially being euthanized or whatever as abortions, after the birth. Again, these are the unavoidable death situations, and Republicans don't care about anyone's lives, they wanna make a BS point for political gain.
