Totally agree but all immigrants from Middle East India etc etc don't want to assimilate at all no matter how fast or slow we take them in. Back in the 80s it was much more positive to integrate because the majority of Canadians were truly welcoming because most were Canadian born and we immigrants were encouraged to immigrated and appreciated the Canadian culture.
