We have problems hiring people. 6 times. IN A ROW. 6 people all accept the job, then on the day of: cancel and don't come in. Only people he have hired and all immigrants. I'm forced to try and train these people who don't speak English. I blame wages, the company won't pay more. Migrants only ones willing to work for less. 20/h is the new minimum wage, and people won't for for that. 18/h is just taking advantage of people. I try and tell the boss but they don't deal with it directly so they don't care

I have heard employers say that foreign workers SAVED our service industry. Its rumored that Canadians dont like to work in these places. I suspected that was a crock. My kids started in service jobs, and it was real good experience for them.
