I don’t donate at the cash except when it is a local private business. In this case it’s a government owned and operated business so I wouldn’t trust that the money goes anywhere that I would want to support anyway.

When asked to donate I replied, “Absolutely not”. The young braided and cafe au lait coloured clerk replied, “Most people contribute and response has been positive”. As I walked past other cashes other people were saying “No”.
