Although Imane should not be competing, this is one case where I would use her pronouns. When she was born, she presented as female because of her condition. By the time the testes dropped and they realized she was DSD/Intersex, there was no way she could come out as a boy in her country/culture. She will have to live as a woman for the rest of her life, in a cage made by her family and religion. In this case, I would call Imane "she/her", BUT she has no place in the ring.

In England we have Sharon Davies(former Olympic swimmer) speaking out against this nonsense, also JK Rowling is another powerful voice speaking out against this matter; both ladies have received death threats!!! The Algerian boxer had XY chromosones, hence its a man. The women need to do a mass walkout on future events until womens' sport is for women. In this video at around 7 minutes 20 secs, the man who spoke was spot on. Until this issue is sorted out then womens' sport will become a laughing stock. A very sad state of affairs indeed.
