Boeing: Yeah fellas we're cooked
@BryanTheDyin Says:
These were the max 8s that crashed in Indonesia and Ethiopia I believe. This was due to a new avionics feature added which lowered the nose if there is not enough airspeed during takeoff. Allegedly the air speed indicators were bad and this caused the nose to continually push down. Both planes crashed in very similar manner shortly after takeoff diving into the ground.

It’s a sweetheart deal cooked up with the judiciary and the government. Over 300 dead and they get away with a fine of 200 million a stitch up..

So much cover ups and corruption within the US government
@Vance_Alexander Says:
The policy of hiring DEI !
@RandallSteen Says:
There are 2 issues, namely, the elevator software and the door seals. The executive board overruled the engineers and QC clearly. My underwear has a dam qc sticker for heavens' sake!
@RandallSteen Says:
How does an artificial person, i.e., corporation, plead guilty. Who the hell ever gets punished other than the 10% fine by DOJ? No one!

We are living in the plot of Atlas Shrugged. Everything is falling apart.

This is embarrassing in the world stage that we set the bar for.
@oneenigma4u Says:
4:53 I really don't know what the problem was with 737 max. It was an advanced computerized flight control Problem. It was fighting control away from the pilots and forcing the nose at a plane downward.

When is someone going to investigate the death of whistleblowers?

Still all a show.
@Aitv-y7k Says:
Corporation liable for felony hmm sounds like that sovereign citizen rhetoric
@Harry_Ballzonya Says:
And once again Alex Jones is still paying more than a company that is responsible for deaths

How can a corporation be held responsible for their actions. A corporation is not a person.

$243.6M..???? Its a good thing they didnt overvalue their assetts.
@Salute_vet22 Says:
How did they crash, who was the pilot? I bet they were not black. Therefore you will not bring up dei.
@Dragonk116 Says:
200m is probably pocket change to them, and I'm assuming that they're just going to keep on doing the same thing until something more serious happens.
@touchstonejean2877 Says:
Felon airlines.
@straightjacket3.519 Says:
Boeing will probably make up for the loss by increasing the percentage of duct tape the planes are made of.
@TheSlickmelon Says:
Who benefits from Boeing's problems and/or demise?
@unclejoker9975 Says:
11:00 I believe the word you're looking for is "incompetence." I'm trying to figure out how to avoid and boycott Boeing entirely. Perhaps KAYAK should add a selection feature for airplane types that customers are willing to fly in.
@krumpnoob Says:
Eh 1st the president why not a business next, hey, maybe we can see animals charged with tax evasion, criminal insanity, and homicide

@angelspencer1668 Says:
You can not replace a person. They are fined to give back some of the money they made. They are still rich so they still win.😢
@knirbnosaj1158 Says:
They've been laying off test engineers since 2000.

I think it was a flaw in the locking mechanism and I think they were aware of it.

What the heck does the govt need money for? Nothing! Also, where's money towards victim's families??
@vannersp Says:
I'm shocked that he used the phrase "... that Boeing would agree to." At what point did the wants of a felon become a negotiating point? E.g. "I'm sorry, your honor, I don't agree to 20 years jail. How about time served?" The whole point is to IMPOSE a penalty that will either A) recompense the victims B) prevent reoccurrence C) remove the felon from society if they won't reform It's not supposed to be acceptable to the perp. Minimum in this case: Boeing cannot operate as a business for 5 years, but must pay out it's (non-executive) staff who are innocent of wrongdoing all wages for that period.
@jwtlucky Says:
So who is going to prison?
@EthanDornton Says:
I still won’t fly boeing!
@smithjones3548 Says:
The Boeing Co. was once the symbol of a quality product with such aircraft as the B-36 Peacemaker and B-52 Stratofortress bombers, but has now become a shameful example of corruption, criminal negligence, and greed. The entire board of directors needs to be jailed, and the doors padlocked.
@Jesse-jy9jy Says:
Boeing kills people and they get a charge of 200 million dollars Trump. Does some real estate and gets charged with the felony of 300 million dollars? I swear our system is messed up. And it's been messed up before trump
@Steelaworkn Says:
Mechanics build aircraft by Engineering specifications. The planes are designed by engineers. Who approves the designs for manufacturing? Always wondered this. Not the board members. The designs are tested by test engineers? The designs worked during testing.
@Steelaworkn Says:
And the Feds can't keep up with the promises given to Ukraine, so, they have to milk American Corps to get the cash. Another thing, Independent Consultant? Probably knows absolutely nothing about designing and building jets. Probably a DEI position no doubt.
@Steelaworkn Says:
Sad. While Airbus is thriving in this country, the Feds are attacking Boeing. I'd much rather fly on a Boeing plane than an Airbus, any day. Nobody goes after the Repair Stations. It's just all attacking Boeing. Repair stations are at fault for most if not all the recent issues, but do not get investigated. Just Boeing. As far as the earlier crashes regarding the 737Max, nobody talks about pilot error and the refusal of extra pilot training by these 3rd world airlines. The training was there for them, they simply did not opt in for it. Very little is talking about that. Either you can fly or you can't. Anyone with the money can buy one of these airplanes. And if your country blesses you with a pilot's license, then you are allowed to fly....but can you fly...really? There has always been extra Boeing Training for every new plane on the market. Do these 3rd world Airlines purchase it. Lots of buttons on the dashboard. Do they know what these do? The 787 is an amazing airplane and if the airline refuses the extra training, one of these just might crash as well. All the new Boeing lineup of A/Ps have new tech and new controls and buttons to master. When you step onto the flight deck of one of these new Jets, you have stepped into the future. LEDs, Fiber Optics etc. Lots of new stuff. If the Airlines refuse the training, they are on their own. Why should the manufacturer be held responsible for training that was refused? This is public knowledge. Very few media outlets picked this stuff up. Just Boeing Bad Airbus Good.
@kevinmitchell8650 Says:
A pittance of punishment.
@leslimize5914 Says:
Wow!!
@merrivoelker2531 Says:
So they got charged with a felony and just have to pay a fine who gets the money does it the people that died do their families get it or does it just go to the states and countries another words that does absolutely nothing but make somebody rich and not the family that lost someone
@gavinng3898 Says:
It’s probably DEI
@johnnyfatsacks5209 Says:
I love America where corporations are guilty but hold no individuals responsible.
@WBWLM Says:
Since large corporations are considered individuals, does that mean everyone that works for them goes to jail?
@anthonywilliams7052 Says:
You can bet DEI is a big part of these failures.
@ladyhawk7408 Says:
there is a show called air disasters. they are true stories of plane crashes and the investigations that figured out the cause. this isnt the first second third fourth or 15th time boeing has gotten away with this. or all the times that the FAA has turned a blind eye to something they knew was a fatal design flaw on an airliner until it becomes publicly known usually via a disaster like a plane crash.
