POC. Seriously? "People Of Color". That is literally EVERY human on the planet. Every human in the planet has the capacity to dislike any and everyone else. The civilized person, chooses not to be a "racist" arse clown; though, as a biologist, i will state that there is only one race: the Human race. Some are blessed with a lot of melanin in their skin, some are blessed with very little. The rest of us are s stuck in the middle somewhere...
@Amblin80s Says:
Lol, her first impression of people eating chips and burgers sounds right! But I think she's been somewhat shielded from racism due to her platform automatically "other"-ing herself as a former NK citizen. The average POC living and working in the US does experience racism, sad to say. It's mostly based on this tribalistic idea of competition and insecurity. But if an NK refugee tells us that we're great and that our sucky political opponents do indeed suck, most people won't be racist to her face.

Welcome!

She got any friends needing green cards?

You don't know what you have until it's not there. People born here don't know the life of people like Yeonmi Park and I hope they never do, but I'm glad she came here.
@Snowingmeerkat Says:
I would be grateful for living in Somalia if I escaped North Korea
@RicardoGonzales-t9g Says:
Thank you for being an American, and people are always talking bad other countries being bad. America welcome you ❤❤.
@catt99mahal8 Says:
I’m Asian American. I have a coworker who I got along with very well. However, he loved to talk about how racist America is. I agreed with him that I faced alot of racist people growing up, but not with white people, but with black people. He couldn’t say anything. I said, it’s ok, I’m over it and I’ll most likely will never see those same people again”. 😊
@joshjohnson2600 Says:
To come to the understanding that by default of being alive, you will struggle. Then, to overcome the struggles before you and come out on top gracefully? With humility, appreciation and humor? That one was born to be an example. Good on her.
@Jonathan-yr3so Says:
🤔 a land of justice? With the highest rate of incarceration. No, “land of the free” “innocent before proven guilty” “right to a just and speedy trial” is dead, if it ever existed.
@Gracie12753 Says:
So encouraging and lovely to hear her. ♥️🇺🇲
One of our sons served a mission for our church in a foreign country. He learned to love those he served but when his mission was over and we picked him up at the airport, he said when they were flying in, he could smell the freedom! (This was prior Obama, the destroyer, but there is still SO MUCH GOOD! 🙏
@lglg6950 Says:
She must have not meet MAGA yet if she hasn't experienced racism!
@Tempus0ptic Says:
I used to support Yeomni until I discovered she deliberately exaggerated some of her claims like the whole "pushing the train" story😂
@arandomlemon6707 Says:
She legit came here to get plastic work done and make bank. The NKs are living, not great bc of our sanctions, but they're up to date and capable of hacking into hollywood. There are no gulags
@arandomlemon6707 Says:
The "nks pulling the train" thing she says does make sense bc 1) traing are several thousand tons. 2) we got a history of derailing foreigners when they're on rails
@arandomlemon6707 Says:
Yall do know that she's a psyop going so hard that other defectors say she's capping, right? 😅. She left nk when she was 13 iirc, and she was even rich over there. She didn't do anything that she says
@strozombie.01 Says:
Houston?! Heck yeah!!
@iisanityfallsii Says:
Good
@ColeDedhand Says:
Listen to this woman who suffered horrible oppression and abuse for most of her life, full of hope and gratitude to be in America. And then listen to a privileged American college student full of rage and hate at the country that has given them everything.
@airwards777 Says:
Some smart guy put a ring on her.
@jasonm47100 Says:
The Kim Jung regime is the real monster. I feel sorry for the poor North Koreans struggling under his rule.
@jeffandsherriefranzwa8970 Says:
I hope she doesn’t experience racism here. Unfortunately, there is some.
@jacobcollins2861 Says:
God, please bless America
@dudebro9420 Says:
GOD bless her!
@NidgeDFX Says:
<3 still goes out to all the people in NK who are brainwashed to hate us. What I learned really quick is there is the Government, and then there is the people.
@Babs3353 Says:
She is not in the public enough! For God sake people, she is trying to save us from ourselves. Read her books, watch her videos, learn and share. She wants us to save America.
