When Assange was arrested and forcibly removed from the building he was in, he was holding a book (Gore Vidal's "History of the National Security State"). In layman's terms, that book would be called a PROP. Props are used on stage, by actors. Name me any REAL arrest where the suspect is allowed to carry a prop with them as the police are hauling them away. You can't, because it NEVER happens.
