At times senior citizens own families essentially take over there elderly family member homes or they allow them to stay.

People that say ‘legalize drugs’ have never lived in a bad neighborhood. They are either dealers or folks that were never made to do anything by their parents.
@peggyford3801 Says:
Already crime is out of control. Hit and runs, shootings, drug use etc…😢
@JoeGagnon1978 Says:
This is happening everywhere and has been for sometime. My Aunt lived in what was an elderly complex, that changed as the city started to let in "recovering People" of all ages. Soon there were bedbugs' and rodents. She was too old to move 80+. Her first 10 years there, it was a very nice place the older people took care of the place and stuck together. You would see them sitting outside or in the common spaces just talking and passing the time after the change they stay in three apartments and are to scared to hangout anymore. They earned what little they had and lost it to people who do not. Leave the elderly alone keep them safe and let them enjoy the company of their peers.
@JM-fv2il Says:
This was everyday in Atlanta throughout the 1990's; how is this NEW? Every neighborhood South of the Georgia Dome was squatter-ville until the housing prices dropped to bargain prices for the Developers to grab 'em up
@easy3088 Says:
But yet these people are going to continue to vote blue no matter who.
@dellyshoppe4 Says:
Well honestly this is what happens when you demonize the men in the community and give way to the government. A lot of women are up on that panel but no men. Odd. When I have strong men in the community that are valued, this is not a concern. Stop voting for people who divide the family. Vote for those who want to empower the family.

Atlanta is a dung heap - has been for years. One of my coworkers almost got beaten for accidentally bumping a guy on the street with his backpack YEARS AGO. It’s gone downhill since then. You couldn’t pay enough money to go back.

ABL, when I was a kid in the late 60's early 70's, my dad was stationed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. We were poor White kids who lived in Portsmouth and were bussed to a rich Black school in Chesapeake. As we were walking up the walk to be registered in 1st grade, my dad, being military, told me I was going to hear a word I had never heard before and he never wanted to hear me say it, or learn that I had. I was also to treat everyone the same. He was still my hero, so I took him at his word. From that point on, I only had Black friends. I even got in trouble in 3rd grade for sitting in the back of the bus with my friends, singing J5 songs. When the bus driver threatened to send me to the principal's ofc, I welcomed it because I knew my dad would eat his lunch. (Then in HS in the 70's, I got in trouble at a pep-rally in TX for not bowing my head for prayer, again I threatened them with mydad, since he was a atheist and what they were doing was illegal. I have since gotten Saved, sadly, he never did. I miss him.😥) One year for Christmas, MJ & the J5 came to the area for a concert and my dad couldn't get me to understand why we couldn't go. I still don't understand. 💜🇺🇲

Just what democrats want. Junkies harassing citizens.
@disciple8857 Says:
I agree with ABL about things that go on in bad neighborhoods. I grew up in East New York Brooklyn all my adolescent life. I saw the same thing with the drugs and stealing, squatting the whole nine yards. It took for me to leave so that my environment would change. That environment cannot be fixed. The only change is to leave and find a better place.

Got to wonder if the police/city don’t move on junkies because they are out of money to treat junkies due to mandatory drug withdrawal procedures when they are in custody .
