Crime is higher than Red states than in blue (Democratic Party lead) states, so they’re fear-mongering about their own State’s conditions. Republicans are in-charge in the “Red” states, so what is the point of the fear-mongering?

People always mention that immigrant crime is much lower than domestic crime. It may be slightly lower or slightly higher, but it's certainly not as low as is reported. Immigrants also don't report crime at the same rate for fear of being deported, and since most crime to a certain community is committed by people within that community it means much of the immigrant-on-immigrant crime never gets reported. When everything is factored in it's pretty close to the same crime rate, like I said, maybe slightly lower or slightly higher (since they know their neighbors won't call the cops because they're here illegally) and immigrants tend to be more suspicious/skeptical of the police as well, since many are from countries where the police are on the take. It's just annoying that this fact gets overlooked so frequently. Don't get me wrong, we need immigrants and not just to do the "dirty jobs", but to continue the melting pot we know as the United States. #VoteBlue
