Anytime you have people living in your home, its NOT free! I know.. Food, utilities, laundry soap, shampoo, tp, it all adds up I have taken in over the years.. 35 homeless people. They could work in trade for a room. There is a "honeymoon" period (about 2 weeks) where they are happy and want to do as much as they can to show gratitude. That does wear off. Well apparently the rent and utilities are being paid. So its not for free, a service is rendered for a roof over your head, lights, heat and a real bed. The migrants are not staying there forever and will move on and hopefully become self sustaining. That's the intent I see for this particular situation. The migrants can't speak english and have no jobs so offering to cook and clean for awhile for a place to stay is not isolated to migrants. However the immigrant situation as a whole is out of control and many are not coming here to be productive citizens but to game the system and disrupt the rule of law. People have mentioned the possibility of the illegals becoming squatters in the hosts house or apartment and refuse to leave , fighting evecfion through the courts ( and you know who the goverment will favor) .
