I’ve been saying this for ages. The US Army refuses to believe that our next battlefield will be in the cyber domain. It’s difficult to prepare for & to get buy in from Soldiers. Instead they brainwash everyone & train day & night for Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO). LSCO will never happen, tanks & Bradley’s will never be deployed to Russia for ground warfare.
The Russians & Chinese have been reminding us of their tremendous cyber advantage but ppl refuse to see it.
Remember when all flights in the US were grounded for over 24 hours last year? They blamed two unnamed FAA employee for “bad software updates”.
Remember when Russian hackers took control of an oil rig off the coast of Florida & gave it back to us once they received a 5 MILLION DOLLAR ransom?
Remember when cell service on the East Coast experienced long, unpredictable rolling blackouts last year?
Remember when several trains carrying hazardous materials were derailed in Ohio? Wonder how it was only specific freight liners carrying HAZMAT 🤔
These are all deliberate reminders of how Russia is capable of completely obliterating our cyber infrastructure if they want to.
