Michael was described as someone you could be openly bigoted around and you'd have a great time at it! Now he's in Hell, the final destination of all Magats who bear the mark of the 🍊 beast. Tragic, and just days short of the #hegetsus foot washing commercial too.

The police are not doing their job that is why crime is skyrocketing they've been using this tactic for a while now remember when the police did the silent strike and crime was still the same levels when they weren't on strike.

Bring back the Biden crime bill the Republicans talk so bad about, and thank him this time.
@__-nd5qi Says:
I thought strangulation was just felony assault so there shouldn’t be a separate law just for that you know? But now I’m concerned that the da and prosecutors didn’t see strangulation as felony assault

@SamWlodawski83 Says:
Listen, I’m as Progressive as they come, but the time to abdicate someone of responsibility for what they’ve done is not after they’ve already committed crimes. This is the kind of stuff that makes people think that all liberals and progressives don’t care about people committing crimes. And it’s not true.

5:22 - that's pure gold coming from you after all the brainwashing you produced against the police and your constant promotion of the "defund the police" movement; And now, all of a sudden, the aftermath is not good (while if they arrested the criminals, you'll still cry racism), the others are really incompetent, and if you were at the head of the country, of course things would run smoothly....you are despicable speaking from both sides of your mouth cenk
@kylebechtol8367 Says:
So the last asked if we have to be in favor of the to be progressive she says no and you think that the representative and those who agree with that stance have lost their minds wtf

IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MUCH WE JUSTIFY THIS LEVEL OF INCOME INEQUALITY, WE HAVE CREATED AN ECONOMIC SYSTEM THAT I CALL PREDATORY, SADIDTIC MORALLY BANCRUPT PARASITIC CAPITALISM.THIS HAS LEAD THE U.S TO BECOME A PLUTOCRACY. OUR ECONOMIC SYSTEM HAS DESTROYED THE MIDDLE, DESTROYED THE AMERICAN TRADITIONAL FAMILY. TOTOAL NEGLECT OF OUR HUMAN CAPITAL AND PHYSICAL INFRSTRUCTURE IN FAVOR OF TRILLONS OF DOLARS ON FOR EVER WARS TO ENRICH THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND THEIR SHEAR HOLDERS. OUR POLITICIANS. ANY INVESTMNET IN THE COMMON GOOD IS NOW CALLED SOCIALISM AND OPPOSED BY EVEN POOR AMERICNAN. AS POVERTY EXPANDS SO WILL CRIME AND SOCIAL DECAY. THROUGH OUT HISTORY ECNOMIC FUDALISM HAS ALWAYS LEAD TO POVERTY AND POVERTY LEADS TO DESPERATION AND CRIME.
@thomasrogers9146 Says:
WE CAN NOT ARREST OUR WAY OUT THIS. AFTER 40 YEARS ON THE WAR ON DRUGS, AMERICA DRUG EPEDEMIC HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE WITH MORE LETHAL DRUGS LIKE FENTYNOL KILLING AMERICANS DESPITE BILLIONS SPENT AND HARSH SENTENCING. AS OUR ECONOMIC WORSENS AND AMERICANS CAN NOT AFFORD HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION, HOUSING, FOOD, WORKING 3 JOBS AND CAN NOT MAKE ENDS MEET, CRIMES WILL INCRESE. 20% OF THE AMERICAN POPULATION NOW OWNS 84% OF OUR NATIONS WEALTH WITH 80% OF AMERICANS FIGHTING FOR THE LEFTOVERS FROM THE BILLIONAIR DINNER TABLE.. 80% OF AMERICANS ARE NOW FIGHTING OVER 16% OF OUR NATIONS WEALTH.

It sounds like this guy had a severe mental break and decided on suicide by cop while taking as many people as he could down with him. My condolences to the victims. As far as the politicians... Your job is to both enforce the laws when someone commits crimes and to create policies to address the root causes of crime in otder to prevent it in the first place. These guys in DC are doing neither of those things. Where is that taxpayer money being funneled if it's not being used toward those two goals?
@brianmarek6159 Says:
Do you think Trump will start a go fund me page for him. Rip sir, Im so sorry
@bluecoffee8414 Says:
While I am glad for the change, it's still amazing how much TYT has pivoted on many issues in the last year.
@jclambert3 Says:
And honestly, would you guys cover the story if a politician wasn’t involved?
@jclambert3 Says:
I reject this idea that Democratic politicians are negligent to crime happening! That’s right wing BS TYT. This guy should’ve been locked up but remember resisting arrest and disorderly conduct are not huge felonies hence why he got back out. Nobody could’ve expected. This guy would do this. How about we start not selling guns to everybody. And actually addressing the calls of crime.
@shane3846 Says:
Any who remember the old TYT (you know just over a year ago) will be a little disoriented by this ‘tough on crime’ TYT champions. Two things to note: 1) As of Dec 2023 the US has the highest number of incarcerated individuals in the world (followed by that soft on crime country: China). 2) Crime (in general) has been trending downwards in the US since the end of the pandemic. Here’s someone making a rational case for crime prevention over a focus of being tough on crime, at the height of the pandemic crime surge (spoiler: it’s Ana) - https://youtu.be/FgNy4GXQsQw?si=hy2dFOBAOZB33k29

@rhd244 Says:
Cenk this idea you have is only in the make believe world of the old TV show Law & Order. In my opinion the system is too corrupt. It is like how everyone wants to take the magic pill to lose weight instead of the plan old diet and exercising.
@jso6790 Says:
Allow cops to ask two or more people who they "believe" are about to commit a drug crime to "disperse" or face arrest.. What could go wrong?

@GharudaProductions Says:
Things that are definitely an assassination. You’re not allowed to be a moderate on the right. Else, the right-wing democrat presidents are apparently on the right. Good thing people refused the wife of the person that ruined the left to take power. She also started the whole woke thing. That was worth a little trump.
@michaelbuehler3897 Says:

@italioraucci Says:
I DISAGREE WITH THE ENDANGERING WITH A FIREARM RULE. THAT MEANS IF " YOU SHOOT YOUR GUN IN PUBLIC WITHOUT HITTING ANYONE" MEANS A FELONY FOR SHOOTING A TARGET 🎯 AT THE GUN RANGE.... SHOOTING YOUR GUN AT DUCKS, GEESE OR DEER.... SHOOTING IN THE AIR ON NEW YEARS.... DOING YOUTUBE GUN VIDEOS... ETC. ALL WOULD BE A CRIME. THE PEOPLE WON'T GO FOR IT. THE SECOND AMENDMENT WILL NOT BE INFRINGED.
@philliphessel6788 Says:
I appreciate that this is an opinion channel, but a modest investment in actual journalism might pay off in opinions significantly better informed with facts. To send an email is an even smaller cost than making a phone call to request an interview. I don’t know what a subscription to LexisNexis costs, but having used the service in the past I suspect it still gives an edge over hunting the Web for prior reporting (probably a greater advantage than in relation to legal and governmental documents, or scientific journals if it also encompasses those).
@ricoj810 Says:
Its funny, they are only tough on crime if you are Black or maybe latino. Everyone else "oh it's gotta be mental health"
@Bigmommafluffy Says:
I bet the right is already pulling conspiracies out their ass about this guy. 😢 My heart goes out to his family.
@movingpicutres99 Says:
“A psychiatric crisis” . . . .Where are the resources for mental health?
@philliphessel6788 Says:
The blindness to nuance here is characteristic of right-wing talking points. If indeed an officer is in fact claiming that arrests and prosecutions are futile, then that certainly warrants serious critique. However, the history of such allegations being gross misrepresentations warrants skepticism. The further right-wing gambit is to repeat the fallacy of excluding the middle, claiming that anything other than harsh treatment is futile. In fact, we can — and by extensive evidence, ought to — apply both penal and socially constructive strategies. Very plainly, the ‘corrections’ system in the USA is just the opposite: really a finishing school for a criminal career! The results achieved in Scandinavia by taking seriously the commitment to helping people become to integrate with society are in comparison dramatically better. That’s in a context of more commitment to making society itself less dysfunctional, so the causes of criminality in the first place arise less frequently. There is wisdom in a proverb that Ben Franklin popularized: A stitch in time saves nine. Another variant: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Neglect of such prudence serves those whose profit depends on perpetuating problems. The profiteers invest in propaganda to persuade us to stay an objectively unsuccessful course, because that pays them dividends at our expense.

@hyperhawk27 Says:
So TYT is the Crime Network now? There are over 25,000 homicides in the U.S. every year so I guess TYT can just endlessly cover random local murders everyday. The murder rate has actually gone way down over the last 40 years but why let facts get in the way of a good rightwing story. Longer prison sentences don’t prevent crime. Schools, jobs, healthcare, and housing for the poor prevents crime. Do better TYT.
@TheDarwinProject1 Says:
Is it actually democrats letting these people go, or is it right wingers trying to make Biden look worse so more people vote for Trump? Restorative justice means "locking people up" but also trying to rehab those people (while treating them like people), so that those who can be remained are AND have transition homes/jobs/resources to STAY out of trouble!
